yes, parang multi-purpose cleaner. yung ibang mas pricey are named tire foam cleaner. may brush yan sa cover, you can use it to rub the tires and wheel wells. for your mags, better use a softer brush to agitate the grime. pwede sa leather seats, spray the foam, let it evaporate then wipe off. effective din sa kitchen, mga oily stove top, oven, madaling ipanlinis[emoji6]

in the garage there are half-full bottles of turtle wax ice, and carlack long life sealant. which one is better?

also what are you thoughts on using the turtle wax ice on everything specifically the black plastic cladding that's ubiquitous these days

Hi all, new member here. Just turned 20 last month and decided to splurge a bit on the exterior of our 2012 Montero Sport. I have been watching detailing videos on youtube for a while and I have already purchased a cheap rotary polisher (the kind of drill shaped ones for ~500 on shopee), 1 step compound+polish, iron decontaminant, bug and tar remover, glaz crystal fx, and a clay bar (all microtex except for the iron decon which is from iChem). I have already been the one taking care of the interior and exterior of the car so I also have carwash soap and the like and I use our pressure washer. I just wanted to know, is there anything important that I need to know before, during, and after paint correction? Things like should I use carwash soap or just dish soap before polish or do I need to tape the emblems or can I get away with just polishing around it? That's all, thank you!

1st time to do rotary machine polishing? give a try first in 1 section like sa bubong, that even you mess it up it will not be an eye sore. there are two types of polisher, a rotary and orbital. mas DIY friendly ang orbital. ang rotary pwedeng makayod masyado yung paint or worst masunog if hindi pa sanay ang gagamit. even the pads to be use depende sa texture at level ng coarseness kung pang cutting, polishing o finishing. carwash soap is paint coating and wax friendly. dish soap have degreaser so it strip the paint of any paint protection na nakaapply.
