Mircotex’s Fall out remover does not bleed that much compared to Carpro and Soft99’s.

I should have purchased Carpro’s right away af

Bought another bottle of TW SnS.

Ako lang ba or do you guys find that the SnS has a thick consistency? Ramdam pagkapahid eh (for me at least). I mean two sprays on a hood of an SUV is not that many. Pero it really streaks. Have to follow up with a damp microfiber para mawala.

Since when did putting protection on your car get complicated? Haha dati sealant and wax lang. Ngayon may coatings and spray on coatings na.

I saw this not so new soft99 product, fusso coat for coated vehicles. Tempting to try but it costs 1800++ hehe
I was about to post about the Fusso Soft99. I got it during the 12/12 sale sa lazada for 1.2k

It's a paste wax that boasts of up to 12 months protection. Instead of carnauba in typical waxes or SiO2 in ceramic coats, it has PTFE, a flourine-based compound which is the same as the one in Teflon.

I applied the wax last week and here's my review of it.

Ease of use: Think of your typical paste waxes but easier to buff off, as long as you apply it thinly. Some youtube videos say that if the wax hazes then you put too much. True enough, I tried waiting until it hazed and it was difficult to buff off. The key is to apply it thinly. You know you applied enough if you see a slightly "oily/hazy" area on the panel. Dont wait 10-15 minutes until you buff off as it will be very hard to do so. I waited 3-5 minutes and it wiped of easily

Cost: Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Meg's Nxt Tech wax goes for 1.8k, while collinite 845 goes for 1k. A can of Fusso is 200g and costs PHP 1244 currently in Lazada. A gram costs PHP 6.22, if you want to be precise

Smell: Youtue videos say it smells bad/strong/solvent-like and you should be wearing a mask. I did notice it smells strongly of solvents but it was bearable and not as bad as expected.

Hydrophobicity: Got to test this property during the rains of Ursula last night. Right now, it exhibits the same hydrophobicity as with most waxes/sealants/ceramic coatings. My main car wax is Collinite 845, and comparing Fusso to Collinite, Fusso has slightly better water-repelling properties.

Gloss: Does not really tend to make your car's color pop-out. Gives a shine but not really spectacular.

Durability: Soft99 claims 12 months, and youtube reviews claim 6 months in real world settings. However, I applied mine with only a proper car wash before application. I'll be testing it's durability in a non-ideal setting (no clay/polish before application) with once a week car washes.

The only downside I found was the difficulty i buffing it off if applied thickly. As with all paste waxes, it also leaves white spots and some white dust after buffing. But hopefully the benefits of this wax greatly outweigh the difficulty of application

Yep makapal din for me compared to other spray waxes. Follow up lang with another wipe and it should do the trick. Directly mo ba inapply sa car paint? Spraying it sa microfiber did the trick for me. Although minsan directly din ako sa paint, feel ko nasasayang pag sa microfiber eh

Just learn something today. Thanks for this. Very informative!

    Procedure:
    1) Apply tireblack onto the sponge. In this case, I am using Microtex tireblack (~P250)

    2) Squeeze sponge to distribute tireblack

    3) Apply to tire

    Repeat for all tires.

*note: you can use tireblack for the exterior plastic trim.

Last step: enjoy how it looks before it rains... again.

Spray sa panel and then spray sa mf towel once (to prime it only). I followed it up with a damp mf towel to wipe off the streaks.
