I just ordered Mircrotex’s decontaminant, if m not satified. Might get Carpro’s or Gyeon’s

Btw is Soft99’s Iromt Decontaminant good for wheels only. Reviews are from degriming the wheels only as well as its level “for aluminum wheels”. It has a better value proposition if it can be use for the paint too.

Previously I used Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish. Good beading only lasted for a month. Sulit na sulit at impressive talaga and TW seal n shine!
Grabe talaga yang turtle wax Seal N Shine. IMO the best sealant at its price point. Although better parin yung high end sealants like Klasse, WOlfgang, etc, you cant go wrong with using Seal N Shine for only a thousand pesos.

Tight beading still on most areas. Lower trunk area deteriorated already. But mostly, it is still holding up. Slick surface still. This product exceeded my expectations for a spray on wipe off coating and a 2 hour curing time.

Next up is TW Seal n Shine.
Amazing nga. Not bad for a WOWO product. Will maybe use this as booster.

At 1000php/473ml (true value price), the Seal n Shine is quite expensive if Im going to use it as a drying aid or to apply it after every wash.

Compared to that, a gallon of Beadmaker costs only 2600php (not sure if this is the updated price already)

I mean if you're going to apply it after every wash for that protection, its going to get pretty expensive real quick.

Another note on this Seal n Shine, it doesnt attract a lot of dust compared to Beadmaker. So thats a plus.

In our setting, it isnt ideal and practical to use SnS as a drying aid. However, I use this as a booster, and apply once a month during the summer and twice a month during the rainy season.

What I use as a drying aid is Microtex' Afterwash. It only costs 200 pesos, and a bottle of it lasts me for at least 2 months (given na every week ang car wash).

ANother great booster is Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax, comparable to other high-end products. I've found Turtle Wax' products to have the most bang for the buck when it comes to car care.

Yes, product arrived today. I might try it on the wheels tomorrow.

BTW is the TW SnS and Mircotex Hydropobic coating a good substitute for the high end sealants? Should Collinite be applied after or before?

I have personally tried the TNW SnS. I wouldn't consider it a good substitute as it only lasts 1 month max on my car, hence I only use it as a booster for the existing sealant/wax. I can't speak for Microtex Hydrophobic coating as I have not tried this. Maybe Zechs can provide us with an update.

As for Collinite. This can be applied with or without a sealant. If you do decide to apply this AFTER a sealant, then you will mostly get the hydrophobic and protective properties of Collinite and not the sealant underneath.

I think the Microtex hydrophobic coating is a good entry level spray on coating. It lasted more than the advertised 45 days and that is on a vehicle sitting under the elements.

You would be wasting good collinite if you're going to put it on top of a coating as it may not adhere properly. It would degrade faster.

imo, halos parehong may compromise. you get the durability and hardness of a coating/sealant underneath then make the carnauba wax as sacrificial top layer. or get the wet look, glossy, slickness feel of a carnauba wax then top with a durable, hydrophobic synthetic sealant spray.

i think i go with the former. sealant spray muna then i use my carnauba waxes on occasions that i miss the slickness feel and sweet fruity smell of paste waxes[emoji6]

Actually you get that wax+sealant effect with TW SnS since its infused with carnauba and Si02.

Since when did putting protection on your car get complicated? Haha dati sealant and wax lang. Ngayon may coatings and spray on coatings na.

I saw this not so new soft99 product, fusso coat for coated vehicles. Tempting to try but it costs 1800++ hehe

oo nga eh, no doubt na mas convenient at cheaper yung mga new sealant/wax sprays as 1 step solution but the lure of paste waxes still exists (to me at least). in my case, im eager to try the synthetics but want still to keep the carnauba's, pang espesyal applications ika nga[emoji4]

Ako naman been there done that pag dating sa traditional waxes and sealants. Ung coatings naman, it serves it purpose well. Takot lang ako i-polish out with carpro essence+ ung mga swirls marks sa coating. Have to try it one time (this christmas break actually) Dami nang swirls sa hood nung car ko.
