was the coating done in a shop? if so, you should consult the shop who did the coating kung anong compatible sa type ng coating nila. dapat kasama yan sa tinanong mo or inexplain sayo after mo nagpa-coating. if DIY, ask the distributor of the product

Yep I tried asking but they're only advice is just wash it with water then it's already okay.
I tried searching in other forums seems the safest is carpro reset. Would love to know if there is any product is available locally.

Some coatings require you not to shampoo for a certain period ...

if they advised to use water lang then why not follow. baka in the process of using shampoo and qd eh magdegrade durability at umiksi protection life ng coating sayang naman. saka if i understood, kaya nagpa-pacoating eh to get rid of the time consuming car washing, wax application o periodic paint correction/detailing. i wonder tuloy why yung iba na nagpacoating still wanted to do pa yung usual wash & wax when in fact dapat hapi na sila sa glass like shine ng coating

Yep I'm concerned with the durability of the coat that's why I'm asking if there is any safe shampoo and QD for a coated car.
I've read some article na proper maintenance is still needed to prolong the life of the coat.
Hindi naman porket coated na yung car wala na gagawin or no maintenance na. ☺
this is my first car so I'm asking for advice sa mga expert sa coating. ☺

So far base sa mga readings ko I haven't seen any advise na water lang ang ang gagamitin for Coated cars. ☺

Ordinary car shampoos will do. QD for in-between washes and droppings.

Nothing wrong if you apply wax over coating, it is just kinda redundant. Plus I don't think wax will last long on cera or glass coated surfaces due to the hydrophobic or repellant nature of the coating.

Btw, what brand of coating was used on your car? Some brands have boosters or rechargers.

when i'll have a new car and get tired and lazy of frequent washing and perodic detailing, that's when i go coating. for now, i still enjoy the usual regimen of washing, periodic paint correction at pahid-pahid ng wax. tamang OC pa rin saka marami pa ako uubusin na stock ng polishes at boutique carnauba waxes.

sa mga nakacoating, you can apply any product as you please. just ensure na hindi makadegrade sa durability ng coating else you defeat the purpose of having it coated. may warranty din ba kapag nagpa coat?

i think any instant detailer/qd is safe sa wax/sealant. it can even enhance the shine. the only thing na hindi compatible are those cleaners or all in ones which can strip the wax. i use qd when mga alikabok lang or during quick washes at ok pa yung beading ng wax.

Medyo hesitant pa ako gamitin panlinis anlakas kasi mag tanggal ng bird poop, kahit yung nakadikit na contaminant tangal din parang matapang baka pati wax matanggal. Lol

Ill try it also portion of hood then tignan kung beadings parin after.

Pwede din syringes, meron sa Mercury Drug.

ive plastidipped the chrome part on the front grille, i covered the headlight except the top part cause you need an inch space for the plastidip peel. to my dismay hindi pala coat friendly yung dip sa UV-Coat ng headlight. On chrome and on the body of the car no issues yung dip. except sa headlight lang.

now it looks something like this.

ma rerestore pa ba ito? ive use the scratch out of formula 1. binakbak niya yung UV coat. then it created swirl marks sa mismong surface na walang coat. my plan now is to wetsand it with different levels of grit, polish then top it with gloss clear coat with UV protection. im not gonna sand the whole unit just the affected part. For those who have detailing experience i need your advice on this. thanks

should i wet sand or should i just cover it with those eyelid things?

PS. i live in the province, walang honda CASA dito sa tacloban. finding the right products will be a challenge also.
