KAIO ranks pretty low on the abrasion chart seeing that it functions more like a chemical cleaner than a mechanical cleaner.
Just have it polished/compounded. Waxes doesn't prevent scratches so you're doing your car a favor aside from removing the oxidation of the paint. If you're really worried about your clearcoat, I would recommend you pick a polish nalang over a compound. But truthfully, you're underestimating how many paint corrections you can do before your clearcoat starts to thin out.
