Difficult to gauge. What was the prep before? Alcohol wipe down the spray on?

nice KSG and UWWPC + water combo.
ito din gamit ko as spray wax/sealant.
i use Ultima waterless wash for cleaning light dirt then spray with this spray sealant for added protection.

you wipe with IPA para maalis yung mga residues during polishing para maganda bonding ng wax o sealant sa paint surface. let say gumamit ka ng polish o aio na may cleaning properties, dapat walang maiwan sa paint surface para maganda kapit ng wax o sealant mo. di siya nakaka-dull kasi diluted naman sa water. you spray it sa mf towel then wipe gently lang, let it dry then pwede ka na mag wax o sealant.

Make a 10-15% ispropyl alcohol solution with distilled water. If your not polishing you dont need this, I just use this for inspection of panel after polishing to remove oil residues. Just wash properly with a car shampoo with no gloss enhancers and wax to ensure bonding of your wax and sealant.

How do you make a 15% isopropyl alcohol solution from a 70% rubbing alcohol solution?

Its Math time, hehehe.

To make it simple, Lets say we have a 100ml of 70% IPA, this means we have 70ml IPA and 30ml of water and other liquids.

What we want to have in the end is 15ml IPA and 85ml distilled water to make a 15% IPA solution of 100ml Mixture.

So if we have a 21ml of 70% IPA, this is 14.7ml IPA and 6.3ml water and other liquid.

Just add 79ml of distilled water to 21ml of 70% IPA, and now you have a 15% IPA mixture (14.7% to be exact), of 100ml.

If you want more of this just increase the ratio.

Just a reminder, dont let this mixture dwell too long in your paint or it may cause swelling, its meant to be use as spray and wipe.

For 70% alcohol, the mixing ratio with water is 1:3.67 or pwede ng 1:4 para mas madali. Hindi naman necessary na exact eh.

So mix 1 part 70% alcohol and 4 parts water. Example, 1 spoon of 70% alcohol + 4 spoons of water = 15% IPA.

For 90% alcohol, the mixing ratio with water is 1:5 exactly. Mas madali mag-mix.

So mix 1 part 90% alcohol and 5 parts water. Example, 1 spoon of 70% alcohol + 5 spoons of water = 15% IPA.
