Wow, binili mo na ba lahat yan? Always read the product description para walang overlapping on functions.

#1 Meg's Gold Class Car Wash lang sana ang binili mo since may plano ka mag-wax afterwards. Meg's Wash & Wax is 2-in-1 product. May wax na siyang kasama, sayang dahil matatangal din in your next step.

#2 Mothers clay kit is okay. (Claying removes bonded contaminants. While wax is not a contaminant, it does bond to the surface of the paint, thus claying will remove wax along with the bonded contaminants.)

#3 Apply to whole car. I prefer Meg's UP. In a way it is like DC Paint Cleaner + DC Polish in one product. It removes fine swirls and wax and adds high gloss glaze. But if you simply want to remove old wax without adding glaze, you can use Meg's DC Paint Cleaner.

Note: When Meg's says Polish, the generally mean Glaze. But be sure to read product label since they can add other components in it.

    *Meg's Deep Cystal System
Step 1 - DC Paint Cleaner (removes fine swirls and wax) = Mothers Step 1 Pure Polish
Step 2 - DC Polish (pure high gloss glaze) = Mothers Step 2 Micro-Polishing Glaze
Step 3 - DC Carnauba Wax = Mother Step 3 Pure Brazilian Carnauba Wax

#4 If you will use Meg's UP, best to follow it up with Meg's UPW. It is newer and a step up from NXT. (But NXT is also okay.)

#5 Collinite 845 is okay. (Other options are Meg's GC Carnauba Plus and Meg's Paint Protect 365. Either one can be applied after Meg's UPW.)

thank you for the detailed explanation sir. I was reading the thread for weeks (or months) now at litong lito ako sa mga available products at kung ano anong tawag sa kanila whether if its polish, glaze, compound, sealant, wax, etc. etc. A lot of time din used din to watch tutorial videos sa youtube at pangungulit ng tanong dito sa thread.

finally naintindihan ko sya in three simple steps. wash, preparation and protection (and maintenance of course). In my quest na matutunan lahat di ko namalayan ang dami kong nabili hehe. Nag start ang thread ng year 2011 at highly recommended ang mictorex products, bought it online, biglang napunta sa optimum products, boutht it online din (Lazada.com daming optimum products, cash on delivery pa), then collinite, found one seller sa sulit. applicator pads, MF buffing/drying towels (chemical guy), washmitts, clay bar kit i bought sa amazon. Tapos all Megs products na meron ako UQW, UP, DC Paint Cleaner, NXT paste wax, Ultimate paste wax, GC Carnauba Wax, bought it here (Riyadh).

In two days uuwi ako for vacation at bago ang loving loving, detailing session muna kay mickey (my car):car:

malamang sipain ako ni misis pabalik dito sa riyadh

Salamat ulit sir, at sa lahat ng walang sawang sumagot at tumulong sa mga newbies like me. Next purchase Megs Gold Class Shampoo hahaha

samalat mga sir, hehe joke lang yung uunahin ko detailing bago loving loving, may bagyo pa daw parating this coming wednesday kaya badtrip.

Isa pa pong tanong mga Sir, may curing time ba ang polish or paint cleaner bago ko layer ng sealant? same with sealant po, may curing time po ba bago ko patungan ng wax?

    Salamat talaga ng marami.

tama yan sir, family 1st palagi

walang curing time sir yung polish at cleaner. yung sealant ang meron, read yung direction kung ilang oras ang recommended curing time.

since may bagyo at palagi maulan sa atin, expect mo din na kapag nag-detail ka this time, baka madismaya ka lalo kakalinis mo lang tapos paglabas mo bigla uulan at mapuputikan pero ang kagandahan, protected naman pintura ng sasakyan mo sa epekto ng tubig ulan...

kung meron contaminants;obvious swirls or marring; compound then polish, then seal.
rubbing compounds & polishes should be done with a polisher for the best results.

Id say not effective, since you need power and torque for polishing/ buffing, which a 12v power supply may not adequately supply. But for spreading wax, pde cgro.

If you will do it by hand, it may take you a lot of time to do harm with the mentioned product, so you dont need to worry.
If you want to perform paint correction by hand, like remove swirls, go for ultimate compound. Do you need to ffup with ultimate polish? You can, but I'll say you dont need to, ultimate cmpnd finishes really well, it will be really hard to distinguish a paint finishd with ultimate cmpnd alone, compared to paint finished by ultimate cmpnd followed by ultimate polish.
By if no paint correction is needed just gloss enhancement, just use ultimate polish.

Guys question, necessary pa bang mag lagay ng microtex nanosliq after wax? Lets say collinite 915. Or hindi na kailangan? If it is, may curing period ba bago ilagay yung nanosliq?

Bought nanosliq kasi kaso hnd ko na magamit dahil mas gingamit ko nang wax booster yung tw ice spray wax every 2weeks. Or puwede ring i-top yung nanosliq after tw ice spray-wax? [emoji16]

    Thanks! [emoji4]

For your first question, no its not necessary. If you want to too tw with nanosliq, you dont have to do it also. Tw ice spray alone is already a good wax booster, good hydrophobic properties, better than nanosliq, so you want tw ice on top and not nanosliq.

What you can do with your nanosliq is dilute it with distilled water 1:1 ratio, and use it as a QD to remove bird bombs, tree sap, or any paint contaminants that you dont want to stay long on your paint.

Thanks sir Kitoy. I own a black car actually. Alam niyo naman, maintaining a black car is really difficult. It's quite hard to describe yung condition ng paint but to give you an idea, swirls are not visible from afar. Makintab yung paint but when you look closely, dun palang obvious yung swirls. And maybe obvious din when shed by sunlight. I've seen black cars with worse swirls than mine.

Medyo natatakot lang ako kasi my ride just turned 1 yr old this july tapos compound agad. -.-

Since your ride is relatively new, a good alternative would be a cleaner wax if you're having second thoughts on using step1-2 products. Take note that cleaner waxes have milder abrasives compared to compounds so its not recommended to be used regularly. 2-3 times annually is ok. A few elbow grease here and there should do the trick on minor swirls. It also gets rid of minor oxidation and stains while improving the luster of the paint.
Compound then Polish is still the best way to get rid of swirls and minor scratches using a machine buffer/polisher.

Uhmmm I've been using Megs Cleaner Wax. It does little to none to remove the swirls. Maybe it does clean the paint by removing some old wax pero nandun pa rin yung swirls talaga. And isang pasada lang ginagawa ko. The cleaner wax is relatively easy to wipe off, one of the easiest sa lahat ng waxes. So you suggest sir I use elbow grease with the Megs Cleaner Wax? Circular motion?

Have a pro detailer/shop remove it(swirls) with some quality polish and proper tools.

Btw that wax i think doesnt have fillers for the swirl marks
