hi mga boss. Ok po ba ang Meguiars Products? readily available po sya sa market where i am right now. Problem is hindi ko alam kung anong bibilin ko kasi ang dami nilang products. any advice po sa newbie na dapat kong bilin?

I'll answer your question since I use mostly Meg products. Ultimate and Nxt Gen are both synthetic formulas. Ultimate is the higher/better and newer series.

You can start with these 3-5 products:

1. Gold Class Car Wash
2. Ultimate Polish (Optional) -- use every 6 months or as needed. Removes fine swirls. This contains glaze for high gloss finish. Use before applying wax.
3. Ultimate Paste Wax or Ultimate Liquid Wax -- use every 6 months or as needed. Same effect lang yung Paste or Liquid form.
4. Ultimate Quik Wax (Optional) -- use after every car wash
5. Ultimate Quik Detailer -- use as needed to remove everyday dust, fingerprint, bird bombs, etc.

Ultimate Wash & Wax -- car shampoo + synthetic wax/sealant in one product. Saves time.
Nxt Gen Car Wash -- car shampoo with a synthetic polymer formula.
Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax -- natural carnauba wax
Ultimate Quik Wax -- synthetic wax/sealant in spray bottle.
Nxt Gen Tech Wax Spray -- synthetic wax/sealant in spray bottle

Ok naman ang NanoGlos. Beads nicely on my car. Try Collinite products.

Ive read beads are supposed to show your paint is protected from the elements. But the side effect marks seen after the beads have dried is sight sore. An old car parked besides mine is almost dry after a few minutes while mine is still so wet with all the beads, if i dont wipe if off and let the sun have its way then there is that water marks as many as the beads before.

I can easily remove watermarks just by wiping them with a damp microfiber cloth or a spray of QD.

Sometumes i just wipe them off with wet cloth if nagmamadali. But they look like dust on the circles, somebody told me you shouldnt wipe dust off your car but must be washed off so im hesitant to wipe it.

Yes. Its rain water. And since we have a lot lately so medyo nakakapagod na.

You can hose off the rain water. If and only if you have a good sealant, then use your qd and dry. If you have a good wax/sealant it wont leave any marks just like what *venerzky says.

Hose is not an option in the open parking area im renting. Wiping it off after the rains works fine as suggested. Its just getting too hard to keep up with the the weather lately.

Some say na ok lang i-wax na agad ang bagong sasakyan na kalalabas lang sa casa dahil oven baked naman ang pintura. Pero ako, ginawa ko is wash lang muna at weekly routine ko na ito sa kanya. After 2 months, tsaka ko siya ni-detail (wash, clay, wax).

Now, kung gusto mo talaga na alagaan nang mabuti ang paint ng sasakyan mo, better na ikaw mismo ang maghuhugas nito. If ever naman wala ka time maghugas, sa mga reputable car detailing shops mo lang siya ipalinis like Big Berts.

I have a 3-month old gray car na may paint protection from Honda, kasama sa freebies.

Initially, I bought these items:

* Microtex:
- Shampoo
- NanoSliq
- Chamois
- Terry
- Wash Mitts

* Rain X Glass Cleaner

1st few weeks, car wash / quick detailer lang. Pero after 2 months, napansin ko hindi na kasing kintab noong bagong bili. Kaya I decided na mag-wax. Bumili ako ng:


* Microtex NanoGlos
* Microtex Wax Applicator
* Microtex Ultra Plush

Kaso, based on my experience, hindi ako solve sa NanoGlos:
- May mga naiiwang streaks na puti for some reason;
- Ilang araw lang parang natanggal na; at
- Hindi ako satisfied sa kintab.

Kaya ginawa ko, I backread dito sa thread, researched in autogeek forum, and watched some videos in youtube. Matapos ang masusing pag-iisip, I decided to buy these items:

* Collinite 845 (Wax; P1,100)
* Mothers Showtime (Quick Detailer; P600)


(Hindi ako nag-clay or polish. Una hindi pa ako marunong, baka ma-damage ko ang clear coat, hindi ko alam kung ano ang bibilhin. Pangalawa, feeling ko malinis pa naman yung pintura since 3 months pa lang sasakyan. Siguro sa ika-6th or 8th month na ako magf-full detail, pag madumi na pintura at pag nakapag-researh na akong mabuti (Clay -> polish -> glaze -> wax). Opinyon ko lang 'to a.)


Satisfied ako sa collinite at showtime:
- dumudulas ang tubig, andaling tuyuin;
- SOBRANG layo ng difference sa NanoGlos/NanoSliq in terms of 'kintab';
- madaling i-apply by hand. hindi namuti. madaling i-buff (applicator -> terry -> ultra plush.
- matipid. 3 patak lang per panel ok na.

Hope this helps. Kung wala pang paint protection sasakyan mo, I agree na dalhin sa reputable detailing shops para hindi agad kumupas.

Di ko pa na-try magpa-carwash sa iba ever since I got my car. Although may free naman ang mga car wash shops. Swirl marks at light scratches. Hahaha.

Pano po ang application? i mean after buffing ng wax pwede na po ba apply agad ng showtime or i need to wait a couple of hours pa muna?. Salamat po ulit
