Thank you for a very informative research. ;-)
Ginnova is also a member of this forums, I think some of the guys here already bought some detailing items from him. You can check his ads in olx.
I haven't tried the DIY version or the consumer version, what I have is the Professional version, but they have almost similar qualities. It just differs in SiO2 content and purity. Its really working well as advertised, just doing regular washing to maintain it.

You can do it, with the proper tools and knowledge, wag ka matakot. To safely wash your car, we use a system called "Two Bucket Method" basically you have a separate wash solution bucket and rinse bucket. This is done to minimize swirls and scratches in your car.
Ive posted a link you can watch, you dont have to do the foaming, as long as you rinse first the body with water prior to shampoo, its still safe. Enjoy!

Personally, I don't opt for Turtlewax brand because a detailer friend of mine told me it contains more harsh chemicals than other trusted brands. It's not too bad, but if you have a choice, just go for Meguiar's or Mother's brands.

Regular ka mag wax or gagamit ng spray wax booster, plain shampoo ay ok na.

i wonder why most of the time people asked kung pwede pagpatungin ang mga LSP's ano ba purpose bakit kailangan pagpatung-patungin? for added durability ba or extra shine? or naparami ang bili ng sari-saring LSP's at gusto magamit ng sabay sabay?

instead na pagpatung-patungin, i suggest i-apply niyo na lang yung kada brand sa magkakaibang panel and compare the gloss/shine and test the durability of each LSP. pwede rin magiwan kayo ng isang panel na magkakapatong to further compare. check the result after every 1, 2, 3 washes kung alin talaga ang tumatagal ang kintab at protection. kung alam mo na ilang washes bago mag-subside yung isang brand, alam mo na kung kailan ka magre-apply. very time consuming kasi mag-apply ng magkakapatong na LSP. why bother to apply so many LSP kung isang brand lang sufficient na to protect the paint for how many washes. just my opinion...

Agree sir and very well stated. Application on different panels with different brands solved the "product confusion" for me in the early days. This way ko na-distinguish yung performance ng bawat isa (I have 3 LSPs back then) at sayo ko din ata nabasa tong technique from the previous pages
Ngayon, inuubos ko pa yung1 LSP ko dahil sayang din naman then try a new product na lang kapag ubos na.
Siguro dala na rin ng sobrang daming products ngayon kaya napaparami ang bili ng LSP which leads to confusion.

Sir monty, pareho bang LSP yung NU Finish at TW ice liquid/spray?

Nabasa ko kasi sa Bitog, na yung NU Finish is a sealant and it also is one of the longest lasting "waxes" on the market if not the longest lasting. It does not shine the best but it protects really well and is very durable.last longer, but the shine sucks.

Kaya naisip ko na ito ang base at patungan ng TW ice spray para may kintab, at parang may gumawa nito sa Bitog, I'm not sure though.
Pareho kasing mura ang mga ito. hehe

Haha! Onga, I think I posted something dito talking about this, na if you just want durability from your LSP, just re-apply it frequently.

Na uso lang naman yung pag layer ng wax sa sealant since yung iba ayaw ng kintab ng sealant na somewhat sabi nila e parang my nakabalot na plastic, unlike waxes na deep gloss ang dating.

Kaya for show cars, depending sa kulay ng paint, i just layer wax up to three times kung kaya for depth, and I pick a specific wax for this. I only do this for visual purposes. Pero kung protection, i will go for a 476 or klasse twins.

you can wash the front grilles, wala naman problema yan. mababasa lang naman most likely yung radiator, no worries there na sasabog please read the beginning of the thread, you will learn a lot about properly washing your car. to minimize inducing swirls, invest and buy wash mitts to shampoo and lint free microfiber towels to dry and buff your car. yung microtex brand kumpleto yan. wash mitt, drying towel, terry, plush, ultra plush and suede para sa windows. don't just use a common rag/towel else magasgas lang paint mo at kakapitan ng lints...

I have used several wax / sealant combo and even put multiple layers but it just takes so much effort doing the routine every few months or so.
I have switched to coatings a year ago and never looked back.

happy na ako sa megs gold class carnauba wax then ONR occasionally. madalang na lang akong mag-shampoo, kung sobrang dumi na talaga like dumaan sa long drive na maulan.
in my case; megs carnauba could last for +3mos along with ONR. it's not daily driven though.
