mukhang hindi pa naman ganon ka-obvious, but you can try swirlX kung talagang hindi mo ma-take. best applied with a motorized polisher or ipa-detail mo na lang kung hindi ka DIY.

Try ko yan sir..salamat sa tip.. Ok ba talaga yung mga motorize polisher? Di makaka dagdag swirl in the long run? diy ako kahit car wash ako lang talaga every week..
Mga boss newbie lang..ang haba ng thread ilang araw ko ding binasa at nagmix-up na details ng detailing..
My regimen sana..
Weekly
-wash
-quick wax
-qd (ONR dilution for qd pero instead of distilled water ay <50%nanosliq +50%water)
Monthly
-wash
-nanogloss
-collie 915
-qd solution as above
Quarterly
-wash
-clay
-nanofil
-nanosil
-nanogloss
-collie 915
-qd solution as above
1.ok na po ba ito?
2. Overkill po ba kung monthly ang collinite 915?
3. Will nanogloss remove my collie wax pag inapply?
4. Any recommendation for bang for the buck na quickwax?is TW express shine ok and will not remove my collie?medyo mahal kasi meguiar pang weekly pa nman sana plan ko..
Salamat po!
Additional question po pla..can i use ung B&D na orbital polisher/buffer for application ng nanofil-nanogloss?regalo lang kasi ung orbital buffer..salamat po!
kaya naman, so far nag eenjoy pa ako sa bi-weekly car wash and weekly retouch ng wax sa hood only.
pero once a month yung buong auto step 1 & 2, then collinite 845

I'm amazed na 330 pages na yun thread na 'to. Doc would have been so proud. I see that monty_gtv is still assisting newbies until now.. +1
As for me, I've been laying low but here's a detailing update. After six months going without any protection on the paintwork, I'm guessing I have proven that I can resist my OC tendencies na so I did my detailing today which will last me quite a long time.
1. Wash
2. Clay Session
3. Mothers Professional Foam Pad Polish on Rotary
4. CarPro Erase wipedown
5. Optimum Opticoat 2.0
6. (To be topped on Friday) Klasse Sealant Gloss
Before we get to the Opticoat, if you're wondering where to get one, you can't. Opticoat has been replaced with Gloss Coat come 2015 as Opticoat has been discontinued at 2014. There goes the era of a flagship detailing product so they say.
I would want to thank my brother for supplying me the Opticoat. I always wanted to purchase one but my current OC habits then meant I cannot help but change my waxes/sealants on my whims. For example, I've tested Pinnacle, Dodo Juice, Menzerna, Wolfgang, Powerlock, and pretty much everything there was popular back in 2013. So my protection-free trial was like a test for me before I try this damn-long product.
Anyway, the photos and minor commentary.
The tools of the trade after the clay and polishing session. CarPro on the bottom and its black applicator, Optimum's syringe and its applicator, an orange applicator I bought before in ACE and is one of my favorites thanks to its fabric texture (quite nice for liquid waxes), and finally two ultra plush (for preping post-CarPro paint and removing Opticoat residue) and a plush (preping the paint before-CarPro)
An minor annoyance it that while the cutting power of the Mother's polish was enough for the rest of the car, I should have settled for a heavier cut on the hood. As seen in the photo, I still have light scratches post-correction probably caused by deeper hood scratches. While it can't be seen with the naked eye, just bounce a light source off and it's something that annoys me to a minor degree. It is not that obvious that merits using a compound so I simply let it be.
The paint condition post-correction is excellent. Beginners should pay attention because this is where your "gloss, depth, etc." is. It's not in the wax, it's the paint prep. The entire Opticoat process took me 4 hours to finish. This was because I was allocating another 3mins to the each panel before proceeding to the next one. I wouldn't want to settle with mistakes in applying a perma-coating.
Finished results look.. well.. pretty much like any other detailing sessions I do. Pay close attention to the paint reflections as they are almost the exact shape as reflected on the glass. This tells me I did a job well done.
I'll let it cure for 2 days before topping it with the crowd-favorite KSG. That concludes my 5-11PM detailing session. My regimen afterwards? Just a wash job and maybe a wax QD at times. I still have that gallon of Nanosliq I bought last two years ago. Wala naman ata expiration ito? HAHAHA

Ayos yan ser!
I am aiming for the lesser maintenance just in case maging busy in the future..mahirap din kasi magmaintain and this "addiction" to detailing might be a stress on the wallet!hehehe!
I'll just answer this,
2. Overkill po ba kung monthly ang collinite 915?
For me, the 915 only lasts for 3-weeks. I had my Altis waxed last weekend using 915 and in comparison to my CRV(which was waxed 3 weeks ago), the difference in glaze and gloss is a lot. Nawala yung luster on my V. Both by the way are black cars so it is easy to compare. Mukhang mas matibay pa ang 476 but iba ang shine talaga ng 915. Matingkad na matingkad.

Would you recommend car wash with soap after 1 week of detailing? or ok lang muna wash lang with pressured water para maalis mga dirt while soap lang sa mga wheels and its area?

Sir thank you for the answer!i own an azure blue altis..mas gusto ko kasi ung medyo parang "wet look" pero magdarker shade..nung nagnanogloss ako parang tumingkad kulay..so mas recommend mo ba sir na 476 nalang?
