^^ good suggestions sir monty_GTV. among the list given, IMO, OCW is the most expensive while nanosliq is the cheapest. ONR can also be a good QD if diluted accordingly. :havefun:
claying is the 2nd step when you do detailing or paint correction process. the usual steps are washing > claying > polishing > waxing.

you tube also has a lot of videos about claying...
Your best economical cleaner QD will be water. Hahaha.. cleaner QDs is basically water + lubrication lang naman really.
The easiest to source will probably be Mother's Showtime... or that Eagle1 cleaner QD spray. But it's expensive if you look at the price per liter. If you plan on "investing", a diluted Optimum No Rinse will serve you very well.
Good evening sirs... tatanong ko lang if meron na nakapag-try ng "JML Mantis Instant Shine Spray Waterless Cleaner & Gloss ", nakita ko kanina sa Ace Hardware. Ok kaya?
What the best way to remove water marks?
I was thinking a regular wash & wax from a know detailer would do the trick, but unfortunately hindi pala kaya ito. Need talaga ng detailing specifically to tackle the watermarks. Although I was told na kaunti palang naman by the attendant - padamihin ko daw muna para sulit. However because my Montero is just 1 month old medyo naiinis ako knowing its there. Even the glass may water marks din.
If its too much trouble to do by at total noob such as myself... Pls recommend a shop I can go.
Thanks.
Although what monty_GTV is correct, I wouldn't worry about month-long watermarks. I'll start worrying kung hindi mo pa pinapatangal in a year tho![]()
Tumagal ng one year, ano yun hindi kinarwash ng isang taon?
I have tip pala mga bro regarding windshield glass. Buy the finest steel wool you can get, preferably 0000 fine, then use it to scrub the outer layer of your windshield. It will be better than claying your windsheild - removes the embedded debris and hard to remove marks and spots. Then wipe it down with a dry microfiber towel. Use windex or invisible glass after.
Works for me![]()
Sirs where do you keep your waxes & QDs? Are the products safe when stored in the trunk? Or iwanan nalang sa garage?
