how to deal with cats?

ok so this is the 4th time i had scratches on my hood because of cats. buti na lang di ganon kalalim karamihan, pero yung iba palagay ko kelangan repaint na pero konti lang naman yung malalim. pikon na ko kakalinis ko lang kagabi ng kotse ko tapos kaninang umaga panay foot marks, balahibo at scratches ng pusa sa hood.:fire: i live in a condo and park on the basement, minsan gusto ko talaga abang yung mga pusa don at yari sila pag naabutan ko. but since di naman ako pwede naka tambay lang sa basement ano ba pwede ko gawin para di na nila lapitan ang kotse ko?

I have that problem as well. Pero hindi naman naiiscratch yung paint, just paw marks. How about one of them car covers?

cats do this to get warmth from the engine. if you trust your parking area, the easiest solution is to pop the hood and let it stand for the rest of the night everytime you go home. kung hindi naman matrust yung parking, car cover is the only solution for it. ginawa dati ng tropa ko, tinahian ng makapal na cloth yung nagcocover sa hood para kahit matulog dun pusa o maglakad, hindi magscratch.

i have a car cover already but every once in a while lalo na pag gabi na umuwi tinatamad na ko ilagay. kaso kahit may car cover inaakyatan parin ng pusa.

mainit kaso ang hood kaya gusto nila dun... gamit ka ng wax na may citrus flavor or lagay ka ng citrus flavor sa iang lalagyan ay ialagay mo sa windshield bandamalapit sa hood... kung ayaw talaga....

Pero ok lang yan kasi pusa lang, yung dating sasakyan ko yung goya ng kambing ang nasa ibabaw ng hood tuwing umaga....

We used to have a cat problem too but back then I only had 1 dog and he couldn't handle all the cats coming in our house. 3 dogs solved the cat problem.

Yup sabi din ng kakilala kong may pet store Citrusy scents like Lemon or Orange repel cats.

Yung saken madami na gasgas sa windshield. ginagawa ko nilalagay ko lang yung car cover sa may windshield at hood, nakakatamad maglagay eh.

huwag mo lang gugulatin kapag pinaalis mo sa hood, sigurado lalabas kuko nila, lalong magagasgas

You can try a long range water gun if you are worried about damaging cars. Not as effective but do it often enough, most cats would move to another place.

Have your building/condo admin solve that problem. Isn't that their responsibility too?

Even my cars show the occasional paw prints of cats walking on top of my cars while parked in the condo's assigned parking area.

And my parking area is direct view from the security guards.

At least the cats don't scratch the car which is good enough for me.

did that twice already and they didn't do any thing. one time pa nga yung nag iikot na guard nakita ko di man lang bugawin yung pusa sa ibang kotse ako pa ang bumugaw, tapos nung sinita ko sabi di naman daw kasi nila trabaho yon.
