Any advice? How to avoid this?
Thinking of putting a stuffed toy on the car's roof and hood to scare them. Lol
    TIA guys!

Place snap rat traps around the car where you think is their point of entry

i just recently had this problem

then last tuesday, caught in the act ng misis ko na yung pusa mismo yung kumakalmot nung car cover. after nakagawa sila ng significantly large hole, they try to get inside that hole
    effing asshole cats

so in the end sira yung car cover. we just decided to buy a new one tuesday night, dahil desperate, i just grabbed the thickest one i could find on a DIY shop.
the brand is called DUB (tas nabasa kong may mataas namang ratings dito sa tsikot)

    nakakapikon.

i tried the pepper strategy this week pero mukang di umeepekto.

i'm sorry pero kung yung daga, ok lang sa inyo na patayin, what is the difference with cats?

placing an open carton box in the garage helps. cats loves boxes where they could sleep. they tend to choose the box over the car. kita naman sa mga pics at videos sa internet yung "if i fits, i sits"

I was never able to find a solution to the cat problem.
I tried natural repellents (chili, citrus, dog pee, etc.) in our garage perimeter and it didn't work.
It seems to me that when they decide to claim your car as their home, they'll be there for good.

When we relocated to a new home (compound), may pusa pa rin sa common area. PERO lo and behold! Hindi nila nilalapitan yung kotse ko. 2 years na since lumipat kami and wala pa ring cat marks yung kotse ko (knock on wood).

Usually cats tend to look for a warm and cozy place to sleep, minsan nsa engine bay pa sila natutulog. Bigyan mo sila ng masmgndang option na mattlugan, as suggested earlier box na my tela or basahan sa loob. If hindi sa inyo yung cat, the only reason they stick around is because my source sila ng food within your vicinity, baka yung tira ng dog food or yung mga scraps nyo that you throw away. Prevent the cats from having access to these things para hindi sila tumambay sa place nyo. Hope this helps

I guess kasi with a sloping hood, hindi sila kumportable.

Nung napansin namin ng misis ko na parang d humihina, I Immediately stopped and popped the hood. Spent the next 5 minutes searching the engine bay with a flashlight making sure na wala nang stow aways.

Had a gsd before and the first corpse i saw was a big rat. Then another in a span of a few days. After awile maybe ubos na rats i saw a full sized cat and then another.

Hehe.

Now i have a beagle and a rot. And maybe a year ago my kasambahay saw another cat corpse beside the rot.

So cat control = big dogs gsd or rot.

I love animals including cats. But some neighbor's cat ate my birds and my rabbits. Sometimes scatter the trash. Having enough of their mischiefs, I bought a small animal trap. When I caught the cat, I doused it with water based elastomeric white paint all over its body and set it free to go home while the paint was still wet so the owner can rinse it. Never saw that cat again[emoji1]

That is cruel . . . That cat deserved it, so cruel for eating your birds and rabbits.

airsoft, *680-700fps, once used this on stow away(s). Cat never knew what hit him. Never came back since then.

Or you could use this kind of trap, get the biggest trap you could find.

I hate cats. I'd use an airsoft on them if I had one. They poop all over and they stress my dogs out. I especially hate when they are mating. My dax died from a back injury trying to chase a cat.
