how to deal with cats?

Also had an experience with a pesky cat. Naglagay na ako ng car cover, pero one time ang masaklap, duon naman sa loob ng makina natulog yung pusa. Buti na lang ugali kong mag check ng engine everyday kaya nung buksan ko yung hood... Ayun nagulat pa ang loko! Puro balahibo pa yung top ng engine

Be careful also before you start the engine, if possible pakiramdaman muna baka may mahimbing natutulog at baka madurog sya

Other prone car cat areas: ibabaw ng gulong & suspension.

Problem solved when I put my dog's cage beside or near my car, kusang nag aalarm yung dog kaya takbo si pusa

had my hood smoothed out:lawn: at BB's because of scratch marks brought about by some dog-cat chasing activities... may mga hindi natanggal kasi medyo deep na yung scratches:furious:

naisip ko na rin yang air soft:gun: hehehe

budburan mo ng pepper yun kotse mo (hood, roof) para pag maamoy nila masinghot nila pepper at hinde na babalik sa kotse mo.

ok saturday night i encountered two of the cats on our basement, i went home very late from a party so medyo laseng na din ako. as soon as i parked i saw a couple of cats getting ready to climb my car just waiting for their chance. so i pretend that i didn't see them and went on my way, gave them a couple of seconds, as soon as they we're about 2 feet away from my car i run after them as fast as i could with my extendable baton. ayon kabit ang isa sa ulo at tumakbo pa pero stopped after he got on a safe distance at nangisay duguan kasi don't know if he's dead now, yung isa sa legs lang nakatakbo pa.

now hurting an animal is my last resort but sobra na talaga ginagawa nila sa kotse ko.

when i was in the states i used to love cats, i even owned one since they're easier to maintain than dogs. pero now i hate them with a passion.

What kind of pepper? I already tried black pepper years ago. I sprinkled it on my hood and roof. The day after, kitang kita yung paw prints doon sa black pepper tapos yung bubong, may silhouette ng pusa. Doon pa natulog ang leche! I think this solution only works for US cats. Yung mga pusa dito are used to eating from garbage and inhaling noxious car exhaust. Siguro acclimated na sila sa mga natural repellants.

I hate cats as well. Whenever I see a cat on the road, parang may nasu-superimpose na crosshair sa windshield ko, may kasama pang points (10pts, 100pts, etc.) Don't get me wrong though, i'd never run over a cat, not intentionally at least...hehehe....

Buti ka pa. Ako, I chanced upon my tormentor (female orange and white striped) as she meowed in our garage. With the lights closed and slippers removed, I moved quietly to Ms. Whiskers. She jumped on the hood. But since it just rained, the hood was wet so she decided to sleep elsewhere. She jumped on the covered part of our wall, which was dry and dozed off. Now, I picked up this huge fallen tree branch that was leaning on the wall for like ages. Like the executioner wielding an axe, I struck the cat with full force.

What happened next was what I would call divine intervention!

The tree branch that i used was already rotten from the inside. It shattered into small, pieces like rotten wood does. Parang hinampas ko ng chocnut yung pusa!

The cat slowly woke up and stared at me. Then meowed. Then causally walked away.

Kainis!

kawawa naman po yung pusa

..before may nakapagsabi na budburan ko ng hot sauce yung ilalim ng bumper. ayaw daw ng mga pusa yung ganung amoy eh

..kung gusto nyo kakaiba talaga, may nakapagsabi sa akin before na punasan mo daw ng feminine wash yung hood yata or sahig. ayaw DAW nila yun. hehehe

Get a stupid car cover and take the time to actually tie it down properly than murdering innocent cats! Sinisi pa ang pusa sa kapabayaan nila.

+1 on this. i use elevo car cover. fit na fit sa kotse kasi medyo may kabigatan.

And exactly how will this help if the cat is inside the engine bay? Last week my trucks hood had paw marks. And scratches. While I do not mind such silly damages I do mind having cats inside (and getting killed) in the engine. Mahirap linisin ang engine bay unlike say your hood.

And they breed like pest. So do dogs. And rats. I hope the local city pound (yeah, we do have one with the staff all sound asleep doing nothing) actually does something about street cats and dogs. Sigurdo inaantay pa magkaruon ng problema bago kumilos.
