This is a water pump right? Not specifically a pressure washer.

if the gripo can easily supply the required flow rate, gripo is ok.
if in doubt, sa drum reservoir.

in our case, our gripo supply is erratic. we connect the pump to a drum reservoir (actually, a jumbo timba!) that has been previously filled up by the gripo.
pag na-ubos ang drum reservoir, "it's coffee break time".

Usually ilang dapat psi ng gripo? But i think our pressure is enough since umaabot naman sa overhead tank yun Maynilad.

naku... hindi ko alam. beyond my powers yan.
    sorry.

but the product manual may have the minimum requirement.

    butipakayo!
our maynilad comes on, only late at night. we have a drum reservoir for it, from which our electric pump gets water to push into our pressure tank.

If pressure washer, make sure your water is filtered to avoid water spots or sediments from spewing out towards your car.

mura nga. lazada. less 200 using PAYMAYAAPR code

it works. actually more powerful than i need it to be. now the only question is durability but that all-metal pump housing looks promising... but if it breaks prematurely i guess it's ok it's cheap anyway

If ever it is not indicated, the best way to know it is to test it. You can try to lift the pump at a considerable height then have the suction hose take water in through a pail and not through a faucet.

I doubt a centrifugal pump will be able to have any suction effect. From what I know, a centrifugal pump is not a self priming pump.

Yes, I don't think they will ever let you test it. I'm referring to those who buy from Lazada. This is the reason why I seldom buy from online stores when it is available in a local market. The drawback of course, is that I pay much compared to some items at Lazada.

There's no other way to know if it's self priming?

If you can confirm the type of pump, then that answers your question. Again from what I know, centrifugal pump is not self priming while reciprocating pumps are self priming.
