Had Cquartz applied on my 6-week old car. Dito lang sa probins. The shop owner confirmed (my own research) that it really takes time to properly do the procedure to achieve optimum result, minimum of 3 days, up to 5 days. Most of the work is preparation, before applying ceramic coat at the end. I told him, fine, take your time, I am not in a hurry, just do your best. The car was released 6 days later. Actually it was ready after day 5 but I was not available to pick up, at the same time nag-uulan eh, so tama lang i-delay ko ang release for more curing time. Nung inuwi ko na ang car, inabutan ng ambon bago nakarating sa bahay. Edi punas ako agad lolz.
This pic was taken at the shop just before I drove home. Behind is their warehouse-like "clean room" where detailing is done. Yes, it is not a real clean-room, but it would suffice for now. There are no windows, dust can only enter thru that huge door and would have to float some 30 meters before reaching the detailing corner at the end.
It cost me 13.5k. Is it worth it? Only time will tell.
The owner, being a racer, must be car enthusiast himself. It is my first deal with the shop and my impression is they know what they are doing. I think I will be back for more car tech stuff.
