There are plenty of shops and different brands of hard coats. but so far i like ceramic pro ph. meron sila gold package 33k, they also have a bronze package 18k-ish. check them on fb.

and of course optimum impressions sa laguna. malayo nga hehehe. airbnb na 😁

not sure if meron na detailer ng cquartz sa area mo. maganda cquartz but requires a good detailer.

spot on sir SE. it's not how good the coating is claimed to be, but how the detailer/shop prepare the paint surface prior to the application of the coating.

marami nga sir nag-offer ng coating now but very few yung may maayos ang paint correction bago i-apply yung coating. and that's the trick, else pinapatungan lang ng coating yung paint defects [emoji16]

yep.. may mga nakasabay ako sa carwash na water lang daw gamit since they were ceramic coated... tapos when i tried checking them out to see baka nga naman worth it magpa-coat... punong puno naman ng swirl marks. Same with applying regular waxes/sealants, the paint prep is as important as the technique or chemical used.

bro sometimes the owners themselves cause the issue. the hard coat will get damaged if not washed properly. baka the owner gets a wash from another shop where they use bad equipment like slightly abrasive wash mitts or worse not so clean drying chamois... nightmare

i agree. yung wash by using water alone at saka yung rinseless wash are not properly done kaya swirls at gasgas ang resulta. you can do wash by water lang o kaya using rinseless wash pero you have to be ready with things like plenty of mf towels.

kung wash by water lang, hose down with water muna yung car to get rid as much of the dirts/grime na nakadikit. you can't simply go ahead with a spray bottle/tabo/bucket ng water and wipe the dirt away. after hosing it down, you need the same 2 buckets of water kasi thats where you rinse your mf towel. as much as possible, isang direction lang ang punas while you need na tupiin yung mf towel sa malinis na side from time to time then banlaw sa bucket. kapag inulit ulit mo ipunas yung side ng mf towel na madumi, gasgas pa more na yan!

sa rinseless wash naman, eto hindi ako kumbinsido. yes, pwede makalinis pero para maging effective dapat marami ka mf towels. if 1 or 2 mf towels lang pinupunas over the rinseless process gasgas pa more pa rin! i watched some video in you tube where 2 punas lang ginamit. nalinis nga rin naman sa huli pero try mo ilawan o tingnan sa sikat ng araw sa mga mall parkings marami eto and marami din nagpapagawa

Gusto ko try ang glass or ceramic coating pero yan ang worry ko. Since pinapa-car wash ang sasakyan sa labas, baka hindi ma-maintain ng maayos ang coating. Nasa province pa naman kami.

Hindi mas nakakaworry kung walang coating tapos pinapacarwash sa labas? Balak ko din kasi ipacoat yung car ko kapag nakuha ko na sa casa.

^ may clear/top coat na yung brand new car protecting the paint surface. kapag namaintain ng maayos, the shine will last long. ceramic coating now is an added protective layer, which kung maganda pagka-apply at maintain will prolong the paint luster

Right. Pero at least kung hindi namaintain ng maayos yung car, worst case scenario, the ceramic coating layer won't long last but the original paint/paint luster will wtill be there. Either way, of course dapat maayos lagi ang pag car wash sa car every time. I was just stating the obvious.
