I don't know if Elevo's available there in SG but im sure its available here, someone told me Elevo is a local brand for some retail company, im just not sure on that information

Yep so far so good with Microtex Tireblack

Haha for swirls and correction you really have to work the polish for a long time and for me and in most cases thats at least 12 passes hehe, with finishing polishes i could even go for more than 20 passes just to work them properly and produce a hologram free finish

as for those products, since they're a bit expensive i would suggest you just apply them by hand you kinda save more with hand application and the difference with machine application doesn't vary that much

SG SRP at most 2 passes only

wow tireblack that can be used on plastics trims, medyo namumuti na din kasi ung ibang plastics sa exterior.... napabayaan na.

yup that's my mistake, i did not work the polish for a long time. waaahhh maybe that's why im not satisfied on the shine n my car? next time ill try the 20 passes. 3-4 settings...hehe


ah ok i thought its better to apply ag srp/m21/ and next gen 2.0 by ROP because you've mentioned that my ROP is way better than a PC when it comes on applying glazes. better to stick on hand application...


how do we properly apply elovo on the windshield? with ease...


1. clean with carshampoo?
2. clay
3. clean again?
4. apply elovo
5. apply carlack 68/diamondite sealant?


and finally how do i remove this stubborn dirt around the emblem... its very hard to remove....

for me the best rotary is Makita 9227c its lighter and a lot less noisy than the BnD, it costs around 10.5k to 11k but its well worth it, BnD on the other hand goes up to 4.3k if its with the backing plate, this is the best value by far, don't settle for cheaper brands, i used a JAC and it busted out on my in less than 6 months and just about the time the warranty expires, BnD offers 2 years warranty if you are sensitive about those things, Makita 9227c on the other hand offers lifetime service warranty but none on parts, but there's a reason why nearly every professional detailer and dealerships opt for the Makita, basically they last a long long time, by friends Makita lasted for 9 years of daily use, he only had to replace the carbon brush twice which costs less than 300 for both instances

Yup medyo mabigat yung bnd after ilang hours pagod ka na. Kung personal use lang naman i think ok naman siya budget ng 5k to 6k for a set of pads and backing plate.

Cleaner wax lagay ka sa isang cotton bud, then tirahin mo yung emblem. Kapag heavy grime na, polish na yan IMO.

naka like n po ako sa civic nyo.. kaya pa yan ang dami nmin sa tsikot!

Sir ang tinuro po sa amin ni sir Edwin is 1st step yung cleaner wax, lagay sa cotton buds then pahid sa grime.

Tapos 2nd step polish naman lagay din sa cotton bud and spread it only sa grime. (I think Megs #66 (?) Quick Detailer ang ginamit namin noon)

Then get a bamboo stick similar to what you use sa Banana-Q. Tapos get a cutter, patalasin nyo po yung tip niya.

Then very very lightly kuskusin nyo po yung grime na nilagyan nyo ng polish. No pressure, yung tama lang para dumikit yung bamboo stick sa grimed part ng paint. Medyo nakakainip po ito at nakaka-frustrate minsan hahaha! Patience ang kailangan sa degriming. Hehe.

On the 2nd image, I think yung ketchup bottle ang laman noon yung Megs #66.

thanks madkatz. they say the fake one do have a thinner wire and noisy and the insides spark and easily heats up.

is it ok to mention a name of a reputable shop for makita 9227c? i walked the length of t. alonzo when i was there but was met with heavy rain so i promptly went home wet and tired.

Nakakalito lang name ng m66 kasi quick detailer name niya pero cleaner wax talaga siya. Di ko pa nalilinis yung emblems ko pero nakagawa na ko ng pang sundot

ano po kaya pwedeng ipamalit sa m66 QD i have a quik detailer mist and wipe only.. but i also have a cleaner wax free from clay kit...now i can use it..yahoooo

Thanks madkatz sa tips in applying rain clear gel,tinatamad akong lagyan yung windshield ko kasi nga ang hirap tanggalin..yung pagjujudder ng wiper ko dahilan ba yun ng rain clear gel??last na nagapply kasi ako mid 2009 pa pero hanggang ngayon maganda pa yung repel ng water..kaya lang nagjujuder yung wiper ko..

there's a chance that the jumping can be caused by rain clear, rain clear has some incompatibility issues especially with really soft wipers

Machine application of glazes is ok since glazes tend to dry really fast but those products you mentioned are not glazes, AG SRP can be applied using machine to give it a little mo pump in correction so you get a better shine but thats just about it, M21 and NXT are both pure waxes unlike AGSRP which has some polishes, M21 and NXT don't have polishes so there's no point to work them using the machine

the kit has a foam included that you use to wipe the windshield clean of waterspots

using Megs UC and rubbing compound is already too much, you could use swirlX instead, swirlX is a polish

you just work the stick to remove the grime, if its gone then stop, also you need to see how it is done in person before you do it, i really wouldn't suggest you do that unless you have someone to supervise you, you might end up just damaging the paint
