Naka-uwi na din ako. Kakatapos lang ng aming Wash and Learn with Master Ed. Maraming salamat Master! For once, nakuha ko yung gusto ko na shine and depth! Pero, as fate would have it... umulan!!! Grabe baha kanina...
Anyway, pag uwi ko, kinuhanan ko agad ng picture yung beading....

Nice beading doc! Kahuhugas ko lang nung Vios, nabawasan na yung "crazy" beading nya. Not as good as newly applied. Sa bagay wala kasi ako booster sa 476S ko, ngayon meron na ko ulit SLIQ.

Guys, I just want to share my first wet sanding experience. An "experiment", my eldest calls it. I did it on my old Kia Avella. I used some 1500, 2000, and 2500 grit sandpaper, sanding block, a Makita 9227, Meguiar's M85 on wool pad, Meguiar's M83 on white LC pad, then topped with Turtle Wax Platinum.
Whew! I wouldn't want to do this again. It was really some workout on my part. The longest time was spent trying out a combination of pads, polishes, RPM's, and amount of pressure and number of passes, on various parts of the hood! (Remember I have NO experience AT ALL with this. This was my first time). When I finally got it right, I did the whole car. This took about two weeks to do, after work. I could imagine if I did this with a Porter Cable, I wouldn't have got it done. Thankfully, I didn't burn the clear coat.
It's a pity I didn't take 'before' pictures. But you would see the previous paint in areas where I couldn't sand and buff, like the narrow panel behind the hood below the wipers, and around door handles. I would have to wait for my 4" pads to arrive to do these properly. Or I'll do them by hand.

Meron na ba kayo rotary na 3.5 inch backing plate? Meron ka kasi ako 4 inch pads. So far nakita ko pa lang is 4inch na backing plate.
