Thank you so much for the compliment and the tip.
But I did start out with m85 on an LC yellow foam pad. Even after three passes, when the sun shines on the paint I am shocked to find out that the sanding marks were still there. I guess the m85 breaks down fast, or I just don't know how to work the polish since I'm a first timer. Maybe foam pads work for swirl removal but less so for sanding marks. I don't know.
That's why I tried the wool pad and what a difference! It gets the sanding marks out in a jiffy! But of course, the dreaded holograms.

But the m83 on white LC pad got rid of them fast.

I suspect that if I follow it up with m80 on a white LC pad will improve the finish further. But I guess I'm too pooped now. And I've already cleaned all the pads.

Perhaps I'll save that step for another weekend.
I feel that if I'd gotten the more expensive m105, I wouldn't need all the three steps going from m85 to m83 and maybe m80. But then m105 is also 3x the price of m85.
