Hehe - not worth it for me eh bro - I can make more in the corporate world (medyo mababa pa ang bayad sa detailing sa Pinas).

If your on my shoe. What will you choose? Xmt of wolfgang glaze and swirl remover? Or ibang brand? If meguiars anong scratch remover at polish dapat??
I have not tried XMT and Wolfgang so I cannot comment on them. what I have and using are pinnacle advance swirl remover/finishing polish combo, menzerna fast gloss fg400, power finish pf2500 and super finish sf4000. all have their strengths and best uses in combination with the right pad. the trick is to try first in a small area the least abrasive polish and pad combo, kapag sa isang pasada di nakuha mga gasgas o swirls try mo yung isang pasada pa ulit or till mawala mga swirls. say sa 3 passes nawala then you have a good combo. but that will tell you na 3x mo pasadahan bago mawala ang imperfections, nakakapagod di ba? next try a more aggressive polish, kapag nakuha mo sa isang pasada, well and good, you have the right combo. but don't just jump to a very aggressive polish and pad, baka natanggal mo nga ang mga scratches pero nagka-marring naman yung pain surface mo.

wolfgang glaze? wala rin ako niyan, meron ako poorboys blackhole saka chem guys ez crème. btw, glaze are more of a fillers, they just hide swirls and minor scratches para pag wax mo makintab at makinis. minsan ko lang gamitin kasi nakakatamad na eh kapag nagpolish at finish ka, then sisingit pa yung glaze bago ka mag sealant o wax.

di rin ako familiar sa meguiar pero gusto ko bumili nung m105 ultra cut compound at m205 at ultra finishing polish. standard combo rin yan for polishing at finishing. HTH

Hello mga detailing gurus! Did a lot of backreading and I wanted to do wash>kaio>ksg> 476>ocw tapos ONR/microtex shampoo as daily wash if possible. My car is a new pearl white crv. It will be parked in a closed garage but the area is quite dusty since it is near machines that are used to mix animal feeds.
    My planned regiment is:
    Kaio+ksg every 3 months
    476 every 2 months
    ocw every 2 weeks
is this adviceable? Or should I adjust the time frames for application?

Also how much does the klasse twins go for in the phil?
All advice is greatly appreciated! TIA!

Same thing as above but can I add Nanofil in the equation?

    Wash > KAIO > Nanofil > KHSG > 915

I really like how Nanofil promises to fill or minor swirls or scratches.

    Thanks!

a while back i thought asking the painter for additional coats of clear is beneficial but to a limit, i didn't know that that limit is a sharp one. 2-3 coats and it's done, no more. else check the technical sheet of the clearcoat.

Good day mga detailing gurus! Question lang po kung may distributor dito ng Autoglym HD wax? Magkano po kaya yung AG HD Wax Kit nila? Maganda kasi nababasa kong reviews regarding Autoglym HD wax kaya gusto kong i-try. Thanks!

Meron. A lot of detailing shops uses Autoglym for their waxes although only a selected few has stocks of their High Definition lineup.

Tried the WG 3.0 Sealant and so far after 2 mos its still ok for me. "Glassy" yung effect nya although may layer sa taas na Collinite 915 na "deep gloss" for me yung effect( parang pwede mo ipasok yung kamay mo :twak. The Collinite lasts approx 1 mo. sa kin because lumalabas na yung "glassy" effect nung WG after that. Managed to observe the WG for a couple of days before topping it with Collinie and what I liked about it ,is how it repels water (Oct 2013) while the Collinite "beads" water (mas spherical yung beads nya compared sa Microtex nano gloss, parang gugulong yung tubig :rofl.

My regimen last October was clay, compound, polish, sealant then wax. Planning to do a clay then straight to wax by March or April, tignan ko tibay ni Collinite sa summer baka ayaw niya na naka topped lng sya mas ok panu para sa kin yung effect nya sa paint ;)

mga sir! mahirap po ba magbuff ng 476s kapag inapply muna sa lahat ng panels vs apply-buff each panel? saka ano ung best glaze before applying 476s? :D plan ko kasi is mag mothers step 2 hehe

based sa research ko from "tamang OC lang" topic, eto ung magiging workflow ko if ever

    wash > step2 > 476s

kung may marerecommend kayo na additional mas okay :D 8mo old Red Civic FB pala

    thanks!

from my experience - upon applying 476, go to your next panel, apply 476, then go back to buff-off the previous panel -- redo until all panels are done. :D

Guys, tanong ko lang kung aling swirl mark remover ako magsimula. Sa may keyhole tapos mukhang light scratches pero hindi siya malalim. Visible standing from the door, pero sa malayo hindi kita. Salamat

Diluted alcohol or diluted white vinegar works as a DIY solution.

those are usually alkalinic deposits. best combat them with an acidic substance. preferably left on the surface, followed by polishing. welcome to decon 101. useful in water spot removal.

top of the list to avoid though is hydroflouric acid, an extremely dangerous acid.

I saw Zymol Detail at TruValue and it's cheaper than Nanosliq. Has anyone here tried it?
