para sure, next day or even later. and the next layer, be more gentle during application. buffing-off, goes without saying. Use light handed/pressure as with sealants.

    or google spit shining

if it's about full coverage, getting your foam applicator everywhere, smearing the whole panel during application and during buffing of the first layer ensures that. Just be aware if it kinda squeaks during application, that means you gotta reload wax.

thanks! so minimum lang pala ang 4 hours for the curing time right? the longer the better?

as for the application, I'll try to be gentle in applying as well as buffing it off..

    1. you must still fully cure the first wax layer
    2. spray the ice cold distilled water on the panel
    3. apply the 2nd layer of wax
    4. buff after hazing

the cold water helps two-folds in preserving the first wax layer. It hardens the previous wax layer and it dilutes the solvent from the new wax being applied, lessening its dissolving effects on the first wax layer. This probably will work better these cold December dawns.

AFAIK, applicable lang ang spit shining sa carnauba-based wax, not sure though kung pwede sa mga synthetic polymer...

anyway, the principle is to "avoid" the wax's chemical (neutralize the solvents) to disturb, remove and/or mix with the existing layer of wax, thus, you use a "cold" (about to be frozen) distilled water or QD to mist the surface first before applying the new layer so the newly applied wax will almost freeze, then you wipe/buff it off until the wax and water (or QD) disappear...

it's a tedious process, and i'm not "satisfied" with its effect... i'd rather use the same product lines, as the manufacturers guarantee that their products "blend" well with each other... HTH...

476 8 hours OCW preferably also 8 hours, take note OCW is more of a sealant than a wax

Honestly i find it didn't do anything better towards the paint, even tried it on different waxes and water thats nearly like slush but still no improvement compared to traditional layering, but thats just me

i love that site and yes i would have to agree with their detailing forum being very active but i find that most members are fans of most detailing shops which i find the practices quite substandard compared to the US standards but then again thats just my 2 cents, im thinking of actually posting there but we already sold our FD hehe so i can't post pics of non FD details

    8 hours! noted! thanks ma'm!
question, again, sorry if makulit po, after that given time, what if I need to use the car after applying the 476 and it rained and of course dirt came along the way and I'm not yet done putting the sealant (OCW) on top of it, will it degrade the last wax I've applied if I wash the car again?
