oi frenchtower, methinks the slew of Meg's products in 2011 includes their own glass-type sealant.
Using Meg's UC every other month seems to be just right for my daily driven car. There are no signs that my clear coat is thinning out. In fact, just after 2 weeks, I notice a lot of tough dirt stains and grime already on certain parts of the doors and bumpers. Besides, I use just a little amount only on stained surfaces, rotary machine set on 3.5 on average.
According to my friends using 915, the water beading lasts for definitely more than 2 weeks. Personally, I can't say really until when because I apply 915 weekly on my car.
asian countries daw muna ang target. at first i guessed the sale only to pros was just an alibi, but there probably is a legal issue for this type of sealant in the U.S. anyway, anybody can 4uck up any product they use, rotary polishers, compounds, scratch removers, APC, degreasers, etc., no legal restrictions in sales there.
good thing sa asia muna, and right here, their legal issues don't amount to anything.

Guys, what procedure and products can you suggest on detailing a silver colored car? Mukhang mahirap talagang palabasin ang shine and wet look sa ganitong klaseng kulay ng sasakyan. TIA![]()
Great job!
But same concern here, using UC on a monthly basis might really lessen the clear coat sooner than necessary, and if it would be just for removal of stains a choice of chemical and abrasive cleaners and lesser aggressive polish might be a better option, if its just for spot removal of stains most of the time abrasives are not needed and considered too much albeit effective in doing the job, one other concern would be if its used for spot removal then you might end up with uneven clear coat level that might result to certain area's experiencing clear coat failure sooner, rotary setting on 3.5 is also a bit fast since those speeds are meant for heavy defect removal already, i just hope you are using a medium to least cut pad for the job, but then again as they say the results speak for themselves and whatever works for you works
BTW if you experience stains on those area's try to use a mild solvent cleaner and pre-soak the vehicle, usually does a great job of removing stains as well
but bottomline with those results great job!
on an average 3 weeks without any booster applied, with booster 1 month and 2 weeks to 2 months
regular cleaning really helps prolong 915 along with proper shampoo dilution, sometimes you may think the 915 is dead but once you clean it, it comes back alive, this is because water sticks to the dirt and grime on the paint covering 915
they must really have a dangerous substance then. just protect yourself against fumes and dust, and skin contact.
good thing they're being responsible and not following others around the world that more freely sell similar sealants. Brockovich lawsuits can really take a big chunk off profit even if they have excellent sales.
same procedure.
light colored cars can show the reflection of nearby objects, and on panels at acute angles from one's point of view.
where they don't show much reflection, they can shine or sparkle in some places to let you know the car got some TLC. the reflection that we're looking for is obscured by the light it reflects/glare, something which dark colored cars don't do as much.
