    M21 473ml = 1274 pesos = DAMN CHEAP!
    Megs Ultimate Compund 450 ml = 708 pesos = ALSO CHEAP!
    Megs Swirl X 450ml = 644 pesos = Not bad
    megs color X 473ml = 670 pesos = nearly the same
    Megs NXT gen carwash 1.89L = 670 pesos = price here is 750 so also nearly the same
    Megs Nxt Gen Tech Wax 2.0 532ml = 1380 pesos ( paste same ) price is 1670 so its a good buy
    Megs Clay kit includes 16oz quik detailer, 2 clay bar 50grams each, 4oz sample of cleaner wax and supreme shine microfiber. = 1617 pesos = this is a little expensive, i think my BF sells his Clay kit for 1.1k only
    Megs headlight restoration = 1836 pesos = nearly the same here
    Megs cleaner wax = 570pesos = nearly the same here
    Megs Gold Class Carnauba plus = 1050 pesos = 1400, not a bad deal, but its mainly for show cars not for protection
    Megs quiik detailer = 455 pesos = get some better QD's

    Autosol = 171 pesos = this is cheap!

    Autoglym Super Resin Polish 325ml = 702 pesos = this is so so, a little cheaper

    ayos yung detailing seminar kahapon. sa mga fellow tsikoteers, nice meeting you guys!

    and to sir Edwin: thanks for taking the trouble to teach us newbies

Shine agad. hehe. I just want to know how much is enough per panel, and ano yung magandang pang spread (terry vs. plush or... yung wax applicator pad?). Medyo mahal kasi.

    so...

    on a weekend, 476, tapos apply OCW pag nag cure na yung 476, then nanosliq. (omit ko na ba talaga step2?)

    then for the next two weekends, booster spray wax (i.e. mothers FX+sliq)...

    rinse and repeat. hehe
    Hello, Sealer and Glaze won't affect waxes binding, but it will affect sealants binding

    as for the OCW i use plush to to buff it, what i normally do is get a really fine mist sprayer and lets say only about 4 sprays per door panel, 2 for the top 2 for the bottom and the buff it off, BTW if you think it too soluble to be that strong, try to leave it and let it dry you'll be amazed how hard it is to get off, but you use it pretty much like a QD, my BF uses a lot of QD so don't follow him with using too much, you only need to mist a little each panel, and yes its not easily removed by shampoo.

    My suggestion would be to do the following on each month's first week

    January = Clay, Step 1, Step 2, Collinite 476 (2 layers and then OCW ) i chose January since you usually have a long time for this

    February = Collinite + OCW

    March = Collinite + OCW

    April = Step 2, Collinite 476 + OCW ( step 2 is recommended every 2 to 3 months, but on a well maintained car you can go for it every 3 months.

    May = Collinite + OCW

    June = Collinite + OCW

    July = Clay, Step 1, Step 2, Collinite 476 (2 layers and then OCW ) i chose this because claying is recommended every 6 months and what better time to clay and prepare your paint for the rainy season and make collinite really stick

    August = Collinite + OCW

    Sept = Collinite + OCW

    October = Step 2, Collinite 476 + OCW

    November = Collinite + OCW

    December = Collinite + OCW

    And then from inbetween washings meaning the 2nd 3rd and 4th weeks of the month i would recommend using OCW after washing, and probably QD like Nano Glos and OGE inbetween or after OCW, you would end up having like a weekly washing already with that, you could use spray booster waxes like Moms FX and NanoSliq inbetween weekly washings.

    Tap water could degrade the abilities of ONR so i really suggest you just get purified or distilled water, distilled water of course is the best to be used, you could contact my BF at +639277227554 for the ONR

    Just a follow up though, if I wait for 4 hours for the FX Synwax to set, will it be safe if I just allow it to go on overnight and then put the Turtle wax the next day?

    My dilemma is that since my parking area is open, after I put on the FX Synwax, there is a good chance that after 4 hours, there is already a good deal of dust on the car or will it be ok if I dust...then use a QD then finish it off with the Turtle Wax?

    I resort to the FX Synwax then Turtle wax put on immediately because I don't want to get more swirls due to the dust that gathers.

    TIA.
    If thats the scenario you might need to re-wash it again, and if its me, just to save up on time and make your efforts well worth it, i would just apply the next coat of wax which is the TW PUG the week after, after my weekly car wash and then wait next month for the FX then TW PUG again.

    Wow if its me thats already a good deal, its a Rotary and a Dual Action Polisher and if im not mistaken it already has forced rotation so if used as a dual action it has more cut, its pretty much like the flex 3401 already and i've been saving up for one of those, thats a really good buy

    The UC is more aggressive but the UC also finished better, we actually use that rubbing compound for hand and spot defect removal and its also very user friendly, its also a good buy.

    Hmmm if you're coming over from SG back here, try to look for Meguiars Shine Kit, it contains NXT Liquid, Tire Foam, Glass Cleaner, Quick Interior and Deep Crystal Shampoo, it usually goes for a lot less in other countries, my BF sold some of them a few months back for only 2k i think, its a really good deal since the SRP is at 3.5k, its a good deal if you're also planning to get the NXT wax, as for cheaper waxes, hmmm if its gonna cost you more than 1k already in SG might as well get a collinite here hehehe

    ok ok ill buy that makita matibay naman yun and pag nasira madali naman siguro ipaayos sa atin. hehe baka kasi mas mura jan sa atin. magkano ba range ng price sa atin? 6" pala tong makita na to.

    sa 3M pads ano mga advisable na pads magandang bilhin? sa pag apply ng UC, AG SRP , M21 and finally next liquid? (bibilhin ko na ung next liquid sabi mo mas mura eh)...=)

    hindi ko nga alam gagamitin kong pang polish ung AG SRP ba oh yung deep crystal polish ng megs..hehe

    pumunta na ako ng carrefour and DIY dito pero wala akong nakitang megs shine kit...hmmmm maghahanap muna ako sa ibang suppliers nila.

    Thanks Thanks Thanks!

If used properly the reduction in the clearcoat is nothing significant, you can wax for the next 20 years and still have clear coat left.
    Now I'm more intrigued by this wax Haha
    What do you mean by "using properly"? It's my first time doing this so maybe you could share the right way of doing it
    BTW does 476 reduce clearcoat as well? Or is it just the 73ss because of its cleaning properties?

    Question pala regarding the ONR: Anong difference between the waterless wash and the no rinse wash?

    From what I understand, yung waterless wash, yan yung when you dip your washmit in the solution, then wipe and dry per panel, tama nga ba? So, how do you use the no rinse wash?

    mga pafs ano magandang gawin sa dust coming out of an exhaust system ng building A/C? yung car ko kasi naka park adjacent to one (yun lang parking slot ko sa condo ko)... tuwing umaga nalang kapal ng dust sa buong sasakyan ko...

    will putting a car cover help? i heard car covers cause swirl marks totoo ba ito?

    Btw what is the effect ng hot na hangin coming from the exhaust sa paint of a white car..? hindi naman sya ganon kainit but it is kinda warm.

    TIA

    Same lang sila sir. no rinse since di na kelagan buhusan ng tubig yung ONR. Derecho punas na kagad para ma dry after mo i wipe ng washmit.
