ano kayang magandang wax for my ride?
currently, I'm using TW Platinum, that's all. I'm planning to buy Nano Glos and Nano Sliq. Would that be good?
Depends on your purpose and how often can you wax your car...for example my case I opt for long lasting protection and not the shine, so I use Collinite 476s (doesn't mean it isn't shiny, just not as shiny as the others)...but is quite durable so you don't have to really wax that often.

Pwede na yan. Actually maganda ang NanoGLOS + NanoSLIQ

If you want durability, Collinite talaga

Dalawa po kasi yung Collinite Sapphire. Yung isa Pre-Wax Cleaner. Baka yun yung may Abrasive.

    Tatlong klase ang Collinite Sapphire.

    Sapphire Prewax Cleaner (No. 840)

Liquid Sapphire Auto Wax (No. ss-126)

Paste Sapphire Auto Wax (No. 73)

    Pinaka maganda yung No.73

Hindi abrasive yung 73SS at SS126.

Pwede yun pang regular. Mas maganda lang yung 73SS kasi paste, mas durable

    Mga chongs,

Just got into detailing lang my ride pero beginner lang ako. Masyadong mahaba itong thread na ito to back read pero I hope i got it right. What I did with my ride is the following.

    1. Wash the car using MicroMagic car shampoo, using a sponge for the underside and microfiber cloth for the upper side.

    2. Removed excess water using a silicon blade

    3. Dried off with another microfiber cloth

    4. Applied Formula 1 Carnauba Wax in a circular fashion using an edgeless applicator

    5. Removed the haze afterwards with a dry cotton cloth.

I get confused on what else to do. I know there is a difference between polish and wax, but which one to do first. I didn't get to use clay bars or scratch removers or other stuff, since my car is fairly new (2 months old) so I just wanted protection from the rain since the rain usually dries leaving dirt marks.

I also wanted to go to Big Berts, pero daming tao palagi everytime I would be free to go. I was looking for the Mothers products and Meguiars as well, pero all I got to find were OTC waxes.

I hope I'm protecting my car right.

Ok naman yan. Pero try to invest on "more" or "better" detailing materials.

Actually, regardless kung bago or old ang kotse mo. Pwede ka naman magpa schedule sa BigBerts para sa Optiguard paint protection. Hindi pa late since 2 months palang CR-V mo.

    Anong color?

Urban Titanium. Hirap mag-pa-sked. Most often than not, I just drop by if I have 3 hours to kill. Eh daming kotse naka-pila.

So far, ok naman yun wax because I got that sheeting/beading effect para mawala ang rain water. At least its leave a lot less dirt when it dried, and in addition, I use a Microtex car duster to remove excess dust. Problem it, since the duster is fairly new, daming maliliit na himulmol ang naiiwan pa.

Yeah. Nag hihimulmol pa ang Microtex Duster kapag bago.

Hmmm.. gusto mo i-try yung Collinite waxes? very durable.
