AFAIK, they used to do that sa Simex. around two years ago, a friend of mine told me that they got this guy to teach his car wash staff some detailing basics. as usual, tinuran niya ng "3-step detail" which his boys ardently followed and became a stickler for Megs Product.. (sa Simex kinuha yung magtuturo eh...)

i got these PLUSH MF towel for 100 petot, size of a bath towel
here's a shot of a microtex plush over my new MF towel
il just use this for drying purposes only, its not almost the same like the plush of microtex but it is a real MF towel and it is definitely big and cheap

Niiicee...where'd u get that from?
Question lang mga paps. How much should I expect to pay for exterior detailing only? I'm thinking about taking my car to Meguiar's as a payday treat.

March 5th, 2007 05:07 PM #2417i'm a tsikot newbie... was trying to read all the pages of this thread kaso sobrang haba, nasa page 43 pa lang ako and feeling ko di ko matatapos...
anyway, just want to ask some questions lang mga detailing gurus... i have 2 weeks old car.. they say that i should only wax it after 6 months? is this true? glaze lang daw ang pwede.. is eagle one wet wipe & shine considered as glaze? lastly, napansin ko may mga small white spots sa hood ng kotse so i washed the car yesterday pero di natanggal... also tried to washed it with car shampoo (3m) pero di pa din natanggal... ano po bang pangtanggal dito?
thanks in advance...

March 5th, 2007 05:24 PM #2418The advice only applies to newly painted cars. Even if your car is just 2 weeks old... it highly unlikely that it's newly painted. Malamang it's been sitting in the casa for quite some time na.
You should definitely wax your car to protect its finish.
I think E1 Wipe & Shine is just a quick detailer.
Hmmm... you need to provide more details on the white spots.
How 'small' are those spots? Para bang pinheads? Baka paint overspray yan.
You can try detailing clay to remove them.

March 5th, 2007 05:38 PM #2419yung white spots e parang stains... di ako mapakali kahapon kaya i tried with diswashing liquid kahit dami ko nababasa na wag gamitin 'to... isang maliit na spot lang naman and oks, natanggal yung parang mantsa... that's why i asked my first question if it's ok to wax a new car.. baka kasi sa wax, matanggal din yung stains, kaso nga lang di daw wina-wax ang new car...
ang gulo...
