na-try ko na TW wax is the finish 2001 polish(although its not trully a polish). ok naman but it was very "powdery" to remove unlike mothers and megs... dami nya residue. maganda yun wash mitt na sheepskin! Ok rin yun terry cloths since medyo mura sya its what i use for the dirty jobs like cleaning the interior or ceiling or buffing the wheels or removing initial polishes and waxes before buffing with MF. Mahal kase MF, sayang kung panlinis mo ng mags hehehe

mukhang ok na rin yun package, dagdagan mo na lang ng polish or if its first time to detail the car, a paint cleaner or clay bar. If you think about it, a bottle of megs or mothers wax will cost 6-700.

another good product I've tried is the EO polish and wax(a bit pricey at 800+). It dries up fast and its abit powdery to remove. Also, it does'nt smell as good as megs hehehe. Since medyo tamad ako magpolish and wax separately(at certain days) eto gamit ko sa light cars namin. medyo tamad ako since napansin ko it does not have that big effect of separately polishing(like megs #7) a silver or light gray car. just my observation hehehe i'm no expert :D

yup. ok naman pero mas maganda quality ng Microtex IMO.. ang hinihintay ko yung waffle weave ng Microtex actually.

I have two bags of these. sa warehouse namin ginagamit ngayon.

ILD: worked on silver this weekend. tried to get a reflection shot off the hood..



next time I'll try to go for more shine.. hirap kumuha ng depth on silver! hehe

You will need lots of brushes and plastic bags + rags, an APC/Water mixture.

1. Warm up the engine to normal operating temps.
2. Cover the alternator and your MAF sensor with a plastic bag + rag just to be sure.
3. Spray a generous amount of your APC/Water mixture to the engine.
4. use your brush to aggitate.
5. start from the buttom and make your way up, rinse but don't use high pressure

6. repeat steps 3 to 5 until your engine bay is clean...

BTW the process above is what you call an Engine Wash, iba yung engine detailing, which involves more steps and less water.

tsinita: with regards to engine detail, one time, after APC, I sprayed the entire bay with Armor-All Tire Foam.. then closed the hood..

di ba delikado ang engine washing/detailing, specially with all the exposed metals and wirings? or is a necessary evil?
