dehadista, just to be sure, what do you advice then as my step 1 - a mild polish such as speed glaze or a cleaner wax such as megs 66?

by the way, i will be going to simex this weekend. malapit lang kasi simex sa amin. baka meron kayong pabibili from there, i can get some for you guys....just a simple gesture in return for all your help. i can meet you then dito sa the fort where i work.

basically, #66 is a strong cleaner wax. all-in-one (cleans, polishes and seals) 'to so this is different from speed glaze which, as a mild polish, needs a wax to lock in the look. (but the results produced from this especially with a machine are great!)

Pa-report na lang ng mga stuff na makita mo doon. :-)

BTW, if you don't mind me asking, where in The Fort do you work?

don't confuse #66 Quick Detailer (this is in liquid form) with the regular spray / spritz QD (Quik Detailer)

e chen, as per their price list, megs 66 (code M-6601) is p2440 per gallon. tel # of simex is 436-8361. laking mura kasi pag per gallon ang bili. tanong ko lang eh ok kaya shelf life nito kasi matatagalan talaga bago maubos.

Peeps, I found these articles about Removing swirl marks & water spots and Polishing. Will appreciate your own inputs on the matter.

AFAIK, that site is run by the wife of Mike Philips, detailing guru ng Megs. those are great articles BTW.

stubby: if so, #66 ka na lang.

afterwards, if you want, you can play with Speed Glaze / DACP. sarap isabay with the Menzerna line. hehehe

On most occassions (and due to time constraints), #66 or ColorX + any LSP works well for me.

I think you can buy Megs # 66 in repackaged bottles, its more practical, I don't know how long it will take to finish a whole gallon of polisher/wax unless you do this for a living

Unless you can finish up the gallon fast, I dont recommend getting a gallon as madaling maghiwalay yung product and if the mixture is incorrect, di na sya pwede gamitin.

To Stubby: I believe may review ng Bosch sa PAD.

megs 66 it is then. i planned on getting a gallon kasi mas tipid nga, kaso as theveed said kung naghihiwalay pala eh di hindi rin pala pwede for the long run. i guess its best to check out those in repackaged bottles na lang, but im sure it will cost a little more.

tanong ko lang po, which has better cleaning properties, megs 66 or moms cleaner wax? coz i plan to top which ever is better between the two with rainhop habang tag-ulan.

btw, rainhop really beads and protects the surface well! 2 days after i applied rainhop, i gave my car a light water shower kasi may dust and dirt accumulation. after the hosedown, nakita ko na parang nakalutang yung water droplets sa surface! then when i wiped them droplets off, konting hawi lang nung microtex chamois tuyo na agad! will definitely be using this habang tag-ulan!

theveed, i knew of the bosch GEX150AC thru PAD. there's this topic re a review on this tool using DACP. ganda naman daw gimitin according to the user.

ess, glad to be of help!

noted po. thanks theveed. question olet po....when applying megs 66 with an ROP, do i do it like irmscher did in his PAD bosch review using DACP?

also, baka merong nagbebenta ng CCD...really need one!
