this is my plan.. after step 1 and 2.. i'll use 3m IHG (may mas maganda pa ba dito na makaka dark sa paint?) tapos collinite.. after 1 day dagdag ulit collinite.. then megs UQD or nano Sliq.. or need ko pa patungan talaga ng spray wax yung collinte? ano po ma susugest nyo?

summary ng gagawin ko 3 layers(isang 3m IHG tapos dalawang collinte) + QD like nanosliq kung dadagdagan ko spray wax magiging 4 layers na..

Nanosliq is already enough and its already got very good reviews of it helping waxes bead longer and bead better and yes nanosliq is already like a spray wax

as for the glaze replacement question, if you are willing to spend up to 5 to 8k for a glaze then there are better stuffs out there that you can only get from other countries

putting a 2x layer of collinite is a good idea but maintaining if weekly after every wash with nano sliq can greatly help your remaining wax, nano sliq will be your QD and spray wax substitute already

i have a suggestion, why not try to just attend this sunday so you could see what other people are doing and see how their products work

thanks po 915 na plan ko gamitin permanently pero na aatat na ako !! haha so baka 476 muna kunin ko, tama naman si sir PSI tag ulan pa naman eh. saka pag nakaipon na ako pang915 yun na talaga gagamitin ko.. thanks sa mga info !! madami pa po ako tanong pero nextime na ulit hehe minsan kasi technical terms din hanap ko na explanation .. how this chemicals react at ano cause ng durabilit, protection water beading and all.. pero as of now ok na po dami ko nalaman .. salamat ^_^ kanino po ako oorder ng 476? katext ko po kanina BF ni madkatz tapos hindi na ulit nag reply sa price ng 476 nasabi lang nya price ng 915 and 885(fleetwax), kukuha na po ako ng 476 kanino po?? thanks

thanks madkatz !! buti hindi pa ako bumili ng UQD.. nanoSliQ gamit ko nayon nakapatong sa EO.. hindi ko pa sya wash last thu pa.. tom ko sya wash para sakto 1week tingnan ko kung mag bead pa or makinis pa.. pag EO lang kasi mejo bawas na gloss at smooth after a week.. tingnan ko tom nanoSLIQ.. first time ko kasi ginamit hehe

salamat mam madkatz naliwanagan na ako from cleaners and polish to glaze to wax hehe salamat.. nacompare ko na din ang collinite nakuha ko na sagot..

question: about glaze naman sino pinaka magandang glaze? si 3m IHG na talaga? compare kay megs #7 ?

question: best QD? pang bead and super shine hehe.. sa dust hindi ko muna consider kasi tagulan pa naman eh.. OGE ata para sa dust tama ba?

we are still in search for the best glazes out there, so far the good ones we've tried are Pinnacle, Zymol, Zaino and Menzerna and they're all very expensive as for the less expensive ones, CK red moose it also great but even if its cheap its still available only in the US, 3m IHG is better at filling swirls and #7 gives a wetter look so you decide what you want

as for the QD question so far one of the best i've tried really is nanosliq, especially for rainy season and OGE for making dusts attach less on the paint during dry season, there are other QD's out there that are also good, UQD and nanosliq has the same beading effect and about the same durability of a QD but UQD shines slightly better than Nanosliq but nano sliq comes at about 1/3 the price of UQD, TW Platinum is also good in terms of cleaning and making the paint slick, showtime is also not bad pretty much like TW Platinum, TW Platinum and Showtime are both show Qd's and are great for shows and wetting the paint with glossing agents but doesn't offer any other protection or feature other than that.

if you're be using Mothers Step 2 then yes its pretty much the same with 3mIHG but if you're using Megs Step 2 then it varries in the sense that megs step 2 doesn't fill swirls like glazes do, it just refines the paint to improve gloss, like i said Megs step 2 is better at refining the paint to a better gloss but it does not fill, Moms Step 2 refines it also but has fillers in it so if you're planning on using Moms Step 2 then you can skip 3m IHG

yes step 1 will strip off any sealant and wax even if its collinite

why not just stick with your current wax and wax weekly until you could buy a 915? that way you don't have an old wax lying around doing nothing and gathering dust, why not just use up all the remaining wax you have until you could buy a 915?

check out autobisyo if they still have the 476 on sale, if its still on sale for 700 then you better get one from them, if its no longer on sale you could ask my BF regarding ordering you one

as for the questions, my advice nik is don't try to over think it, its not really rocket science, but if you want to ask a lot of questions it would be better if you talk to my Bf personally so he can show you his collection and explain what they do, that way you could ask him simultaneously whats on your mind, and we've already discussed these things before so when we give you an advice its already been though of, detailing should be fun, it should be fun in the sense that you are willing to try out new products and new combinations that would give you the best results and the results you wanted, and if you've found one then just stick with it, if you have a new product then just try it, it should be fun like playing it shouldn't come off as some homework or some math equation, so relax and for now just try what we suggested and enjoy detailing and enjoy that moment when you just finished detailing your car and you tell yourself "Nice Job!"

you see if you enjoy detailing like me and my BF then it turns out as fun, my BF has about 30+ waxes, i've already reached my 100th wax mark and its still fun, its that enjoyable for us that thats how far we've gone, that way we know which products work which don't which does this and which does that, no matter what you ask and no matter what you research it all boils down to using it first hand and seeing the results first hand, so just enjoy detailing and don't make it so complicated, don't get me wrong i don't mind you asking or anything, just keep it simple and enjoyable, don't overthink it, detailing should come off as a joy not as a chore, thats why i guess even though sometimes im jealous that my BF could just take me out on a date on sunday its ok for me because i know people are happy during the detailing seminar, there they compare waxes, share waxes, compare QD, correct defects and help out each other. Actually if you could drop by i could even assure you my BF would even be willing to give you a coat of 915 just so you know what you're getting before you buy one

as for my BF not replying, be patient and just message him again probably after 5, its either he's restoring the 67 jaguar right now or he's at work, he's a really busy guy so just text him again later, chances are he might have forgotten about the text or might have too busy

Step 1 won't remove any but the finest of the finest swirls nothing more but #7 can also fill not just that thorough compared to IHG

thanks mam buti nakak fill din ang #7 kahit konti ehehe. may nabasa ako dito after nya mag OGE nawala pag bead ng collinte baka dahil natabunan na yung collinte kaya ganun tapos yung sa pag wash naman baka super dami ng sabon nila at super diin ng pag punas nila sa pag tuyo.. ganun kasi ako dati ayun lumitaw swirls halatang natangal ko yung EO..

tama mam need ko talaga i-try muna.. takot lang kasi ako sa money and time.. pero patience lang haha makakabili din ako hehe .. thanks madkatz sana talaga makapunta ako sa sunday. :lurk:

915 wins against 476 in terms of looks, it gives a better wet look than 476, in some cases 476 can get a little dull but still bead water exceptionally, but 915's shine lasts a lot longer and is definitely better, people who buy 476 are very happy about its protection and 476 is all about protection, not much on looks, 915 is more expensive because it comes with looks and actually its one among the top 10 show car waxes we use.

as for 915 try to contact my BF if he still has some on stock, you can reach him at +639277227554, i think the last time some guys bought 2 cans from him, im not sure about the price but im sure its cheaper than 2.3k

Well my BF has already taught some of them those things so they should be washing their car pretty well, im just thinking that the duster might remove some of the 476 or the ONR might be too strong for the 476 but we'll just have to conduct a thorough test for that before we rule out anything

share ko lang ... may water marks sa water sprinkler sa may hood.. kahit kutkutin ko ng kuko ko ayaw matangal .. sinubukan ko TW swirla nd scratch remover.. after mga 2min na madiin kong pag punas nawala na... ingat na ingat ako kada 3 sec an punas ko tinitingnan ko kung wala na .. baka kasi mamaya wala na pero punas padin ako ng punas sayang clearcoat hehe..

sino may gusto ng TW scratch remover pang tangal ng water marks at light scratch.. swirls sure na tangal na try ko na din pero sumakit braso ko.. baka may need sa inyo handa ko pamigay to ng libre basta may matira lang sakin ng konti pang tangal lang ng watermarks pag nagkaron ulit.

476 is 9oz thats true and its price at 1900 is already obsolete, right now it went lower down to 1.4k, i just confirmed that from jerome and thats the new SRP

but the 915 isn't 18oz its only 12oz but the price is still at 2.3k so per oz 915 is still more expensive

the result would be

476 = 155.55 pesos per oz

and

915 = 191.66 pesos per oz

and since i just confirmed it

guys! 476 is back on sale!! its back to 700 for a couple more weeks!

that makes 476 down to only 77.77 pesos per oz

there is however this one thats the only collinite i know thats 18oz
