i would suggest you bring your truck over so we could properly see what products work, and i would also suggest you don't buy any products just yet, this way you could see which products work best for you and what products you like the most

i agree with SG and chix on this one, the micromagic is really a bang for the buck, hehe of course! i was one of the product reviewers care of a certain friend before this was released into the market hehehe and its really cheap if you ask me

    1. washing
    2. drying
    3. applying wax
    4. buffing wax

    Thanks!
    1. washing - TW Ice or Megs NXT are both good since they are gentle
    2. drying - Microtex Elite
    3. applying wax - Megs Foam Applicator pad, Microtex Wax Pad
    4. buffing wax - Microtex Plush or Ultra Plush

Hello, sorry for the late reply, if i were you i would wait until there's a lot of swirls already before i remove them using a polish, in the mean time there are a lot of waxes and glazes out there that can be used to hide and conceal the swirls marks, Microtex NanoGlos is honestly one of the best filling waxes i've tried, next comes NXT, Eagle One and #26, but i've had varying results with NanoGlos, for glazes you could try Mothers Step 2 sealer and glaze or 3m Imperial Hand Glaze, for glazes you apply these before waxes. this way you could save more clear coat and in the mean time you could practice how to properly wash your car the scratch free way

What i use is 3 different washmitts

1 for upper half of the car

1 for the lower half of the car

1 old and rugged washmitt for the tires and wheel wells

    tomorrow... the ranger!

question lang mga sirs, what do you guys do pag inulan auto nyo? para kasing nakakastrip talaga ng wax kahit anong car shampoo kahit gano ka mild...
If i use a Collinite wax, what i do when it rains is immediately get a water hose and hose down all the water since chances are they are acid rain and can etch into the paint, then i use free flowing water to sheet out most of the water particles off the paint by using beading, and then i pat dry the remaining water particles with a chamois

Also using a good brand of wash and wax shampoo can prolong the shine of your car

sayang di ako nakabili ng buffer? polisher? Black and Decker KP600 ata? cost 3200, kulang ang pambili.
hehe you should have waited to try out different products on the seminar, the scratch remover is not so bad, its more towards the aggressiveness of a rubbing compound but it does get the job done fast, but with this kind of scratch remover you need a finishing polish after

It was already dark when I finished so these don't really show much.

Moms Step2 and 3 lang 'un nilagay ko. Di lang talaga ako sigurado kung gaano karami 'un kailangan ilagay sa applicator pad. ?? Sobrang konti lang nilagay ko kanina so di ko tuloy alam if that's enough. *Step2 - paste, Step3 - liquid. Gaano kaya karami dapat?

I was also using the chamois to dry it after washing, okay lang ba na 'un pang dry? Medyo ramdam kasi ung friction kapag pinupunas.
Great job for a first detail! if you want to use a chamois, try Microtex Chamois, i know i might sound like im pushing a product already but there's a reason why most of the top detailers use Microtex Products hehe, either that or Microtex Elite or any soft towel

oh yeah and don't forget to dry the lower part of the bumper, you can get water marks leaving them that way

    Minsan ko lang ito sasabihin

pag dating sa detailing kits, huwag po natin titipirin ang sarili natin kasi baka hindi gaano kaganda ang kalabasan

    diba maam Madkatz?

ito pa matindi!..baby oil ang pampakintab!...

Haha thats actually the SOP in most Casa's and Big detailing shops, the reason they use kerosene is because its very safe especially when you get them into someplaces water cant like alternator and such, its pretty much the fail safe way of engine detailing, another bonus to this is that its very good against oil and gunk, but there are some cases where rubber parts actually crack and some even liquify when used with kerosene but these are usually horror stories from very old cars, not with the new ones, and for the baby oil its actually a nice tip i've come across years ago but protectants nowadays are cheaper than baby oil hehehe

Yup, pretty much like a QD, and yes i agree with chicks that it does feel slick like a just waxed car, not to mention it even beads water hehe

NanoSliq is actually more like a spray wax, based on how i understand how it was designed was that its designed for removing light dusts and finger prints and contaminants but its also designed to prolong and further enhance Nano Glos' shine and protection, and based on how it performs its more of a spray wax than a QD, its too thick for a QD actually.

    Hi all,

is there any other minor/budget friendly remedy sa deep scratches? (halos labas na yung metal..) but many said that it reached the primer lang.. but still.. malalim pa din siya...=(

i saw this clip sa youtube na merong parang nilagay na filler-type paste.. then touch up paint.. it looked really good.

    thanks.
