*Aejhayl17: i think the scratch could still be removed, as chickselog said, it could be greatly remedied visually. i dunno what duhat drops are but if its tree saps, claying and polishing would also greatly improve its appearance

*Scharnhorst: before you have it buffed to remove the swirls caused by the duster, why not try to fill and hide it? there are a lot of great waxes out there like NXT, Eagle 1 and Microtex NanoGlos, im not pushing NanoGlos or anything ok, im recommending it not because i know the owner of microtex but because its really good at filling swirls and the fillers are not easily removed by washing and at less than 400 its a lot cheaper than most competitors

*Antz-z - what i can say about CCD and Microtex Dusters are don't wash them, they really lose their cleaning ability, just try to use a blower or a light air compressor to blow away the dirt particles

*SG: very nice shine! the beading is even better after a second coat, you could even pour a glass of water down the side and leave nearly no droplets behind haha, its so one of the best waxes i use especially for the upcoming rainy season, you could really notice the difference when it rains when you compare your car to others, and yeah its quite hard to have collinite waxes dry on your car since it really becomes a PITA to remove but if you could wait a little longer the better durability you get, we compared it a panel that removed after applying and a panel where we removed it 30 minutes later with some QD, and the one where we left for 30 minutes lasted weeks longer with better beading

Our 1999 Revo sort of overheated for the first time after 11 years, it spewed rust that had solid particles that looked like mud coming out from the radiator, so i had to learn the hard way how to flush a radiator, the engine was left really dirty and the wet rust actually made the metal parts sort of yellow a bit, it also made the paint quite coarse so i guess its the effect of rusts acidity.

My Hardest Engine Detail Challenge, it took me 3 whole hours to detail the engine

Here are some before and after pics

So that was my work, and here's my Bf's work, he taught a guy from microtex engine detailing and basic exterior 3 step

    results:

Engine had some grease and oil dripping on the side, some water marks on the painted parts and a lot of dusts.

And here's the lucky guy he taught, you'll see him in Microtex booths in shows and around stores that carries Microtex Products

*jmpet626: get a butter knife plastic or metal and use that to scrape off some paste waxes and spread it evenly on your black, blue or red LC pads, make sure to spread the whole surface though since paste waxes don't usually spread as fast so as to avoid marring the paint.

    ^^ good job, ma'am!

did you just use engine degreaser alone? (waterless) or with soap and water?

We've mud inside the ranger's engine bay, and I'm not sure if the degreaser would be able to do the job

regarding the wax... I'm trying to find nanoglos - does blade carry it?

    thanks!

Sana before June

At yung CR-V na black... naiinggit ako kasi yung sa akin puro hairline scratches at di ganyan kalinis ang engine...

Sir kay sir Edwin na lang ako kukuha. Hehe, baka this week na ako makakuha sa kanya.

Yung detailing seminar kung meron pa, wag sana matapat ng this upcoming Saturday and Sunday. Aalis kasi kami eh.

Pwede natin tirahin at pagpraktisan etong Civic namin. Yung 4 doors na lang pwede, yung iba bagong pintura. And glass polish na rin. Hehe
