mas maganda yung variable speed polisher. mura lang yung kawasaki. gusto ko bumili nun. pero not now
madkatz have you tried Auto Glym?
may nagbebenta kasi sa TeamFD. sobrang ganda nung result ng resin polish.
sample pic:
STEP 2 - SUPER RESIN POLISH - is the ultimate cleaner/polish/sealant in one.It is extremely easy to use and ideal for all of colors...its non-silicone based and non abrasive, unlike other polishing product which you can only used every 3 or 6 months...
PRICE - 325ml - 820php
- 500ml - 1150php

nice detailing. ang galing mo talaga.
finally, i was able to use just this weekend the microtex samples you gave.
been very busy at work.
I'll try to post some photos later.
*thx777: You can use Mothers Protectant for trims, rubbers and plastic exteriors, thats actually one of the products i use on a regular basis, i just used Microtex Tire Black because it gives a darker shine and a wetter look on plastics and rubber, and since the plastic and rubber was really weathered i needed something stronger and thicker to do the job thats the only reason why i opted for the Microtex Tire Black, but if the trims are in good condition i also use Mothers Protectant.
*mada: sealing is putting on a sealant over the cars paint, its pretty much like a layer of wax but definitely much more durable, it should be applied on a clean prepped paint and should be allowed to cure dry for 24 hours, most people just opt for detailing shops to do it for them but you could easily do this at your own home, the problem would be getting the product itself, you could get carlack from BB which is one of the best sealants, and for the better ones you need to shell out a couple of $ for that and get them from the US
*SG: Mothers Protectant serves that purpose, but this would be great for maintaining those rubbers and plastics that are still in great condition, for restoring and deep conditioning i would suggest naturally black, Megs Gold Class Trim Detailer also does a great job for damaged plastic and rubber
*Chickselog: yeah its around 50 pesos like Sg said, as for the polishes i actually already used rubbing compound on the Expedition but there are a lot of clear coat left because i used a different method from the ones used by detailers, i just made longer polishing passes using lighter pads for the job, thats why is still has orange peels, orange peels BTW are one of the best visual indicators that the paint still has clear coat.
*SG: for faster detailing yeah you could buy the kp600 but if you're gonna get the kawasaki, why not just get the Porter Cable? My friend just sold his brand new spare PC7424 at around 10k complete with pads, im not advertising ok, but if he sells it for that price, chances are you could also find a seller or a source thats cheaper, jm and i got ours from the US it does a nice job and well worth the cash spent hehe
As for the autoglym polishes, i've tried them before, way way before and well they are great, they're very popular in england and Australia at first i was daunted by the amount you have to shell out for it, the ones that are selling them here are already considered cheap compared to international MSRP but still expensive for me, so i still bought some to try it and i was really happy with the results until one time when i bought their Liquid Hard Wax and when i opened the bottle the contents already seperated and its like the contents are already expired or spoiled, i tried to contact the source in GH but they said i should just shake it, and no matter how i shake it, it just doesn't come back together and whats worse is that TW works better than than separated wax, i've used this before and its really great, their wax is like P21S and their Super Resin polish is like WG deep gloss paint sealant, but i guess when you buy one, make sure you check the contents if its a good batch or a bad batch, im not trying to degrade AG products, they really are great, great enough that thats what the Royal Family uses but ever since i got a bad batch i only buy them when i feel like using them unlike before.
I will use Moms step 2 for the first time, what is the ideal curing time before ko i buff (by hand only) ang step 2 then apply step 3. Can't wait to see the result.
I'll post pic before and after.
*SG: Sir ganda ng result, sana maging ganyan di maging output ng sa akin after ko mag step 2, hirap kse gawing mirror finish ang dark color blue.
here are the results, when I used Microtex Nano Wax:
I poured water on the trunk:
