Ngapala... I dont take the common road where everyone is going... thats why I spent year exploring and experimenting with single sheet construction for car skins... kung baga - the UVX doesnt have double walls... not even subframes. Its like an origami of steel Geometric shapes... funny why its being snobbed 20 years ago. (maybe the idea was too early.... or probably - I am not talking to the right people siguro.)
I am exposing a lot of secrets here but - what the heck - If your Filipino and you have delikadesa - you won't steal it. Moreover - I also noticed that Keeping secrest dont work for Pinoys... it may work with Americans but I have observed a lot of Filipino Organizations who keep secrets with fellow filipinos don't last long. If what you have is not really a secret - don't hide it. Much of the ideas everyone is talking about has been thought of already. I know - since Automobile History was my chosen topic to research when I was still in elementary. But I am still searching and researching... particularly - the roads nobody wants to explore.

I scrapped the UVX 8 or so years ago. SOld it to a friend for P9K only... dont know what happened afterwards. I also destroyed all the wireframe patterns.
I am busy with a Light commercial truck that also fits the PhUV criteria. It's is a Modular design... in a sense that - You can actually order it by kit and assemble it yourself. It is based on a 3 to 4 ton Chassis - similar to the Isuzu NPR.

Lio... I only have a webcam here - I hope my old drawings come clear... here are some of it. I made these jeepster concept for Toyota when I submitted my portfolio in 2003 more or less... It's a jeep ... a retro jeep... but based on a small owner type chassis. The front fender is inspired from Dune Buggies.

Helios, I will try to answer all your question - incomplete ang sagot ko before...
The UVX - was a good experiment and experience. In fact - I really wanted to call it the ULTIMATE, UTILITY Vehicle Experiment and Experience. UUVXX.
kaso baka biruin ng mga bata na UV Ek ek. so I opted to keep it UVX. I stopped developing it... but I have all the blueprint in my head. I would still pursue it later siguro. Here are some more of the images... I left my picture at home all I have are zerox... pasensya na sa quality ng webcam snap shots.
I expected all the results to come out exactly the way I wanted. Since my business requirement was to be able to carry at least 200 5gal. container in one loading so that my driver wont be coming back and forth from the delivery points and the homebase. It saves more fuel that way, and lesser probability for accidents. And since they will be carrying heavy loads... I dont want them to sue me later after 30 years by blaming their spinal injuries on my work condition... so I had the Cargo bay roof elevated to a height acceptable for the normal Filipino pahinante... but still maintain at least 1 to 2 inch Head Clearance so it wont be hitting House Roofs. It is an intelligent design. I applied all the knowledge I gained from the mentorship I got from Oby Mapua himself while I was his student (grasshopper) in his Human Powered Vehicle Design Seminars.... Good Designs are always Ergonomic, Aerodynamic, Lightweight, Minimalistic, Thermodynamic... a basta - Dynamic. Thats it - baka di na ako maintindihan ng masa. (tempting minsan magsalita ng technical masyado... but I dont want to bore you) So I will try my best to keep my language pleasantly acceptable to the norms....

Here's some more images of the UVX... that time - di pa uso yung wind breaker sa taas ng mga truck... I already have it - but I made it the roof para airy and roomy ang feeling sa loob.
