ANYONE who looks at it from a business standpoint will arrive at the same conclusion
me and GH arrived at the same conclusion -- a good design, Japanese quality PhUV can't be profitable for the manufacturer and dealers if retailed at P350,000. It's just not possible. The cost alone will be more than P350,000 per unit.
i know you know that too
but since you're a diehard supporter of the PhUV, you do not want to admit that
how literal can one get?baka naman maganda point ko kaya sinabi nya yun. who's making kuliglig builders make car? baka speculation nanaman yan a.
what i meant was you're a diehard supporter of pinoy vehicle builders (like the other guy)
so you will give this -->to any pinoy-built vehicle
even if it's just a kuliglig
gets mo na?
^^^who saying that its still alive?
GH meant no car dealer can stay alive if the PhUV retails at P350,000
you gotta work on your comprehension, dude
what exactly IS my passion, dude?ang passion mo ibang klase.

Unless you still believe Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, we all know that product quality costs money. So, a P350K "pinoy" vehicle will look like a P350K "pinoy" vehicle, a bunch of japanese surplus parts held together by some acetylene welded sheets of galvanized steel made to look like an american world war two army transport vehicle. LOL!
So, going for the "personal" attack? ... running out of facts to twist?

phuv is still alive boys and girls.
pero iwanan nyo na yung presyong 350k, that's so 2006.
pero yung mga doers nagtatrabaho parin, count on it.
hindi pa rin tumitigil.
pero ok yan uls and gh, nakakaaliw kayo. tuloy nyo lang yan![]()
sabi ko nga buiding ang car that can be as good as the competition with a low price is the challenge e.
i am not a supporter. i'm just very open to the possibility that someone will be able to face the challenge and come out as a winner. positive lang ako.
the kuliglig is not what they were happy about but the guts to help themselves using their own means to overcome a situation. they tried solving their own puzzle.
maybe the car dealer structure is also a puzzel that should be solved.
passion mo? wala lang. pang forums ka lang. hindi ka creative.
imho hindi po creative ang mga pro phuv guys... more of hallucinating..
hindi po suntok sa buwan yan... suntok sa neptune
i love filipino made goods...if possible i want to buy local compared to china... but... malabo lang po talaga yang phuv.. hehe
wala talaga tayo foundation... technology, steel industry, engine industry, parts industry..
meron lang natin dito is.. windshield, transmission, electrical harness, computerbox, upholstery, rim makers, engine support makers, tiremakers, abs manufacturers sadly theyre mostly foreign controlled..
and mga important parts wala tayo..
hahahasabi ko nga buiding ang car that can be as good as the competition with a low price is the challenge e.

so ikaw creative ka?
e baket lahat puro "puzzle" sayo?
coz you're nothing more than just a cheerleader, an observer of the pinoy auto industry... a guy who goeseverytime someone posts a pinoy-built vehicle (exactly like the other guy)
you don't have any solutions to the "puzzle"
you're just waiting for someone else to solve the "puzzle"
if you're so creative, why don't you solve the "puzzle"?"i'm just very open to the possibility that someone will be able to face the challenge and come out as a winner"
know what?
you can't
you can only go like this -->
pang forums lang ako?
ikaw din eh
hahahaha

wala kasi kayo local na kalaban sa electric
can't compete with the real pros pag dating sa ordinary motor vehicles
what if may nagparating ng electric CBUs from China na mas mura pa ePhUV and eJeepney?
sa ngayon wala pa talaga market dito for EVs kaya wala pa nagpaparating
thanks to your work in trying to open up an EV market here, if an EV market does grow here, everyone will be importing electric EVs from China
then you'll have competition
Isn't it so ironic that the PHUV is so "representative" of the local PINOY automotive industry?![]()
share ko lang po pictures ng china uv... what were going against pag magkaroon na tayo ng phuv..
these is a china vehicle around 5 years ago... gaya gaya ng jap vehicles.. pati interior ginaya..
i came from china last week.. and guess what.. improved na sila.. hindi na sila masyado nangagaya.. and dumami pa manufacturers nila..
why? because they have engine industry. hindi naman buo yan isang company lang may gawa... they purchase from supporting parts industry. and alot of parts they just put together.
this particular model which looks like a pajero gen2.. with a gen3 nose cost around 500t pesos.
id be honest with you... i was very impressed by their vehicle... pag isakay mo ako diyan.. not telling me it is a fake pajero.. i would not know the difference. but una sa lahat... wala tayo kahit ano eh..
we cant just build cars from nothing.. we have to start from something.. like a waterpump.. or generator para umabot sa automotive engine.. kayalang wala tayo niyan.. ubos na factory saatin... pinatay na ng bills sa kuryente.. nung tumaas kuryente saantin.. and tumaas labor.. madami nang umalis na factory and nabawasan na interesado dito.
the only reason i see para mabuhay ang automotive industry sa pilipinas is... pag tinaas ang tax ng siguro 1000% sa imported vehicles hehe.. so most of us cant afford vehicles anymore.. parang martial law.. hehe.. we would have to go to our offices in kuligligs.. hehehe paurong...
like i said in another thread, pinoy car builders should at least come up with cars at the quality level of China cars to be taken seriously by pinoy car buyers
sa lagay na yan pinagtatawanan pa ng mga pinoy ang China cars
mataas ang standard ng pinoy car buyers
the day pinoy car builders produce a car* like a Chery or Geely or BYD or Lifan or Great Wall, i will go like this -->![]()
*not imported CKD na inassemble , dapat 100% pinoy built from scratch -- body, powertrain, interior, everything
AND if they can sell it at P350,000 and still make a profit, i'll go like this -->1000X
hehe

Nearly a decade ago, I was already impressed when I saw chinese brand vehicles like the S-RV on chinese roads.
It is a nice vehicle built on top of a truck type chassis. Build quality was pretty good for vehicle that is essentially a knock-off of the Honda CRV.
Lack of political will... the past governments are so afraid to do the hard decisions that would push the country into real progress. Our laws are too "socialized" that it has pulled us back from getting real economic progress.
If that's the case, we might see people holding on to their 20 to 30 year old Japanese cars... which is still more comfy than riding in kuligligs. Parang Cuba with all those old cars still running on the road.the only reason i see para mabuhay ang automotive industry sa pilipinas is... pag tinaas ang tax ng siguro 1000% sa imported vehicles hehe.. so most of us cant afford vehicles anymore.. parang martial law.. hehe.. we would have to go to our offices in kuligligs.. hehehe paurong...
hahahahaha
wala na
napunta na sa personalan
ran out of arguments dun sa topic...
the PhUV was doomed from the start
the PhUV people aimed too high
they tried to run before they could walk
they tried to fly without evolving wings first
the cheerleader above has no more bullets
throwing mud at me nalang
haha
pathetic
If may mag revive ng PhuV, do you think may bibili? aabot kaya sila ng 30K?
Maybe they should redesign the jeepneys as PHuV's, then phase out all the jeepneys and have a tie up on all backyard assemblers.
Baka umabot pa ng 2K a year.
