    ^^^ Yung mga shop sa tabi-tabi, simple lang ang pressure testing na ginagawa:

    - Tanggalin ang radiator sa kotse, at ibuhos ang tubig/coolant
    - Tanggalin ang mga hose na nakakabit
    - Pasakan ng bara ang butas sa ilalim ng radiator at ilagay ang radiator cap
    - Sa butas sa taas (upper hose), bugahan ng hangin gamit ang bibig. Kapain ang
    radiator kung may hangin na sumisirit

    Hehehe...

    Pero yung mga decent auto repair shops, talagang may mga aparato para matignan kung may butas nga. Same principle lang din gaya ng nasa taas.

    ang proper procedure diyan ganito;

    rad tester set at 12-15psi

    then check the whole cooling systems for any leaks

    Radiator overhaul ranges from less than 1K to 1K+ depende kung taas baba bubuksan.

    Evercool 1 row nasa 3K+, 2 rows mga 4K+ kung manual tranny – mas mahal ang sa matic.

    many thanks for the info. Last na overhaul ko about 2 months ago was around Php600 lang pero they told me na sasakit talaga ulo ko sa rad ko kasi plastic ung top nya, dapat ung bakal ang gamitin. I'm assuming the Rad prices above are for brand new? i doubt na gagastusan ko ung car ko ng brand new na rad, i'll probably try a surplus kind.

    ^^^ it's up to you, sa surplus (more than P1,000) kasi walang ka-siguraduhan at tsambahan. matagal nakatambak ang mga yun at sigurado puno na rin ng kalawang. sa bago, taon naman ang bibilangin bukod sa warranty. good luck

    update ko lang..finally after kong madala yung auto sa radiator shop..meron palang leak sa bandang baba nung radiator..suggest nila palitan na lang daw ng metal since plastic yung ibabaw nya..so nagfabricate sila nung bottom part ginaya nila yung plastic..yung mounting nung fans pati drain plug etc..

    nagtataka lang ako bakit plastic part yung bottom nung rad while yung taas metal..btw accord 96 po yung auto acquired 3 years ago..1.6k charge nila..sana nga tumatal..pero kanina tinignan ko may tumutulo parin pero hindi naman bawas yung radiator at reservoir..ibalik ko na lang bukas sa shop..
