Evercool radiator is the best dude. Solid copper is the best because it conducts heat very well. Copper is also twice or thrice more expensive compared to Aluminum. The original radiator of our jap cars are crap and it's only made out of aluminum and plastic ung iba. Sorry to say that but the radiator design on stock cars are just made to be cheaper for the market.

Go get the double row. In durability and materials used it's worth it. I'm even trying to look for a double row copper condenser for my ride. Pero wala ata.

Like sa PC natin. Kung aluminum heatsink gamit mo eh.. Low class un.. High class heatsinks are made out of copper. Mas mahal din. Checkout thermal take for example

Just bought an evercool radiator. Nag canvas ako for Civic si Levin has the cheapest. I am happy naman with evercool and sila rin ata gumagawa ng mga OEM for IMV projects.

As for the plastic top replacement of the original. Denso can do it however pag binuksan na there is a chance hindi 100% ang pagka dikit it is not designed ata for that. Pero I heard some nag pa repair ok naman.

Based on my experience sa civic ko plastic and alum core siya not worth it na pagawa kas ilan beses ako pabalik balik dahil bumibugay yung top so I opted to get an evercool.

Another thing top is easier to spot if there is a problem OEM has a plastic bottom tank which happened to a friend bumigay sa NLEX tumagas ang ATF at sira ang Tranny.

I also just bought an Evercool Radiator from Right Corner in Sucat (in front of Jaka). Don't bother going to Uratex, because they'll only give you the tel no. for the Canlubang plant. And don't bother with the plant either, because the Sales and Marketing people there are just useless, they told me I had to wait over a week for the radiator. They did suggest though to go to their distributors instead, but they failed to give me their addresses and CORRECT contact nos... it's a good thing I browsed thru this thread.

Spare yourself the wild goose chase that I went through --- Just go to Right Corner (tel no. 826-5228), the owners there are the BEST. Prices are very reasonable and they really know their stuff!

For the same amount of surface, you'll need 2 rows or more columns to duplicate the heat dissipation of a stock aluminum radiator.

Pomelo: Check your PM, sent you a lead of someone selling a 2nd hand CRV rad.
Tama napansin ko sa Evercool matagal lumamig at mas matagal mag-automatic shut-off ung Radiator Fan compare sa OEM Radiator, i think mabilis mapalamig nung FAn ung OEM which is plastic. Sa na-observe ko kya pumuputok ung mga OEM RAdiators is binabasa ung Top pag nag-overheat which is ang cost nung overheat is Busted Radiator FAn or nag-kulang na sa tubig dahil nag-leak na ung Hose. i think we should avoid na basain ung top nung Radiator pag mainit kc nagbabago yun pag sudden change of Temperature.WE should check 1st the Radiator FAn or leaks from Hose b4 we do some things.

But in may Opinion ok ang Evercool matibay talaga kya lang ung sakin medyo Rusted na kc 7 yrs na eh, i think Full Aluminum is far more BEtter

when i busted my radiator for my starex,, due to overheat kasi nag stuck up ang thermostat. when looking for a replacement radiator. asked around for an evercool radiator for the starex.. and was told prices started around P9000,, that really made me think twice..

went to kasa and a radiator cost P13,000, went looking at surplus shops,, found non.. but they said prices hoverd around P5,000 up..went to Good Gear, brandnew replacemnet radiator cost P3700, walang stock thou.. finally found one at Rexstar auto parts,, they had 2 types available. a thick one and thin one.. got the thick one for P4200, by the way starex OEM radiators are aluminuim with plastic tanks..

so from my point of view,, why buy an evercool radiator for twice the price. when i could get a replacement brandnew radiator for half the price?

guess i just wanted to be practical..

in that price tag of 4200 did they discuss to you about the warranty?
if not, i think its not a wise move. why? cause there's no assurance regarding their quality. (FYI only)

Mahal na rin ang evercool radiator... may alternative brand gawa ng UE.. Local din siya and I think same quality as Evercool... Yun yung ginamit ko dati sa Toyota ko hangang sa nabenta ko yung sasakyan yun pa rin radiator...

But now I know the importance/benefit of OEM Radiator kaya Surplus na lang... hehehe...

Well, agree ako dito about warranty, about 3 years ago (2007) I bought a brand new aluminum radiator for my 2000 model Starex for only P3,900.00 but unfortunately na sira narin last August 2008. Less than 1 year ko lang na gamit when I went back to the store ang sabi sa akin walang warranty ang radiator na na bili ko so I decided to go to other store "Levin Auto Supply" .I ask them ano ang pinaka magandang Radiator they recommend Evercool Radiator. From 2008 hangang ngayon I am still using Evercool Radiator sulit ang pera ko.

Naisip ko lang, mahal talaga sa casa dahil original yun but if makakahanap ka naman ng sobrang mura compared to the original eh you have to think twice, malamang downgraded din ang quality niyan. Better nga talaga sa local manufacturer nalang bumili at least may masasandalan ka pag nagkaproblema.

my brother bought an evervool radiator from sammy's. he opted for evercool because of the warranty. turned out the warranty is only good if the radiator is not installed. once the rad is installed, wala na warranty. crap if u ask me. after 2 weeks nagleak ang brand new evercool. di daw covered ng warranty eveb though yung dealer naginstall. my brother had to go to the cabuyao plant to file a complaint. ang ginawa lang hininang ang may leak. dun din namin nalaman yung warranty nila na walang kwenta... just sharing... nabasa ko kasi yung evercool has a warranty above.

I'm planning to buy Evercool sana for my crv. Want to clarify something first about the warranty, you mentioned that they repaired your unit? Isn't that the warranty na? Were you asking for a replacement in sammy's? I think replacement is different from warranty, am I correct? :-) It's a good thing they repaired the unit. I noticed there are also imported brands of radiators around, I wonder if they will also repair the unit once it has a defect since wala naman sila factory dito sa pinas. Ok na din itong may local factory para may babalikan ka pag may diperensya, mahal ng radiator ngayon eh.

sammy's didnt repair it. he had to go to the laguna factory and demand for it to be repaired. if your buying one, i suggest you clear the warranty with the dealer/auto supply.

dont get me wrong, okay naman evercool misleading lang yung warranty

Yes ako since 2008 up to now evercool radiator parin ang gamit ko. For the warranty I think meron silang warranty card sa loob ng kahon ng radiator dapat lang itago yun para just incase na mag ka problem ang radiator eh magamit ang warranty.
