Daming good reviews ang Evercool. Second choice ko iyan if we couldn't find a correct radiator for the vehicle we were restoring. Pero nakahanap ako, BEHR ang tatak. hehehe.

BEHR is the OEM radiator for Benzes. AFAIK, it's made somewhere in Europe.

Tried it my past ride-Toyota Corolla, it's better than OEM coz its not plastic..After using the Evercool, didn't have problems eversince...
gregg_g: It's not better than OEM. Plastic radiators are not only lighter, they also give way to excess pressure to prevent more expensive engine damage (like cracked cylinder heads, for example).
pag stock denso yung radiators nyo you can bring it to denso banawe pwede nila palitan yung plastic top or yung plastic bottom pag nag crack for 1.8-2k yata yun.
Yung sa CR-V kase made by Toyo yung radiator kaya wala yung plastic top replacement available
as long as di ka nagooverheat, there's no reason for it to break. The Denso thing isn't a repair, it replaces the whole top with a new denso top.
one reason why nasisira ang mga OEM radiator is kung binubuhusan ng tao (usually gas station attendants) ng malamig na tubig ang radiator while its still hot... kahit bakal magwawarp yan...
Diba parang nakadikit lang un tob/bottom or clip na naghohold? Or adhesive? Or both?Originally Posted by theveed

Hi Theveed, actually my reference was the longevity of the radiator, the OEM after 3 years, gave way, but with the evercool, by the time I sold the unit, 4 yrs after the replacement, was still a OK...

Maganda tong idea ni sir theveed ah... WEll sa nalaman ko na maganda din daw yong plastic top radiator .. galing.. I think Im gonna replace the plastic top of my radiator kasi may leak na.. thanx theveed!
OEM Rads are made of alum, kaya sya manipis coz aluminum and dissipate heat A LOT faster than copper (mga replacement)...
For the same amount of surface, you'll need 2 rows or more columns to duplicate the heat dissipation of a stock aluminum radiator.
Pomelo: Check your PM, sent you a lead of someone selling a 2nd hand CRV rad.
