Dapat lahat ah, mahal kasi sayang pag nasira tas wala warranty.
Just want to know the difference between Plastic & Aluminum Radiator to Brass & Copper Radiator?
with regards to thermal conductivity, aluminum is the best. next is the Cu....forget the plastic....but aluminum moves a lot more (expansion/contraction) than copper....could be the first cost of aluminum that is preventing car owners to have one...Cu is relatively cheap (vs. Al).
with regards to repairs, Al and Cu can be repaired.......throw away the plastic one if cracked....
If we are talking about durability, Brass-Copper Radiator is the better option. Plastic tank and rubber gasket can be damaged by excessive heat unlike brass tank and soldered materials that have high heat resistance properties. Considering the tropical conditions in the Philippines and adding to it the condition of the engine when it is running, brass-copper radiator is advised as it is battle tested to be heavy duty.
If we are to consider longevity or even maintenance, brass copper radiators are known to be susceptible to repairs, unlike its plastic counterpart. This information is significant since most people keep their vehicles longer than the average lifespan of a “stock” radiator. Human instinct will tell us to find ways of prolonging the life of our old radiator, the available solution of course is having it repaired. This option however is only available when we are talking about Brass-Copper Radiators and unfortunately not to plastic ones.
Try mo Evercool, I heard it's the best.

Ok ito ang opinion ko
Plastic vs Coppen or Tanso Radiator
Plastic's advantage
cheaper
less conductor of heat
lighter
original type design
more stocks
usually imported (taiwan or singapore)
Plastic's disadvantage
cannot be repaired
have a life span or 5 years max
Metal's advantage
longer life span
repairable
more durable
Metal's Disadvantage
conductor of heat
more expensive
limited stocks
*idrive - Your words are exactly the same as the ones found in the Evercool Facebook page and I think you are employed or maybe the owner of Evercool.
Please answer the negative comment regarding your claim of warranty. My radiator on my Honda City 2002 just got busted this afternoon so my research regarding radiators led me to this page.
Early on in this thread I was impressed about the comments. Later on the higher price, the inefficiency of your plant employees and your silence regarding the warranty makes me think twice of buying the Evercool brand.
I also visited your website, and yes you claim a "warranty" with nothing about its details.
*Mr Evercool - pakilinaw lang po. Peace!

*vivafox, good eye dude. got the facts from their website actually. if you have concerns about their products why don't you give them a call? just a suggestion.
sa cooling, mas effective pa rin ba ang OEM?
puwede bang upper tank lang ng evercool ang ikakabit ko, kung 'un lang ang sira sa OEM ko?
salamat, sir dest! went to your shop this morning. retained my 1-row radiator and replaced my upper tank. spent less than half the price of getting the evercool. so far, ok naman.![]()
