If your asking my opinion I will suggest that you get the brand new radiator from levin at least its brand new compare to your old radiator.

Please answer the negative comment regarding your claim of warranty. My radiator on my Honda City 2002 just got busted this afternoon so my research regarding radiators led me to this page.

Early on in this thread I was impressed about the comments. Later on the higher price, the inefficiency of your plant employees and your silence regarding the warranty makes me think twice of buying the Evercool brand.

I also visited your website, and yes you claim a "warranty" with nothing about its details.

*vivafox, good eye dude. got the facts from their website actually. if you have concerns about their products why don't you give them a call? just a suggestion.
The way you posted twice without any reference to your source leads one to understand you are speaking first hand.

I eventually bought the Evercool brand replacement radiator, because Honda original is 17K petot.

Relied on the good judgement of my trusted mechanic. He shopped around for those "plastic top" aluminum radiators also, but not recommended by him.

So, based on availability, price and durability we got the two rows for P6,500.

Cannot post a feedback yet on the warranty and long term performance.

Evercool radiators are good. I tried that brand with the lancer that I used to have. I bought that in 2008 for P4,500 in Banawe and until now, it has never been overhauled.

Also, looking at the way it was constructed, it looks really rugged and it like one of those radiators installed in saraos that are easy to overhaul by any radiator-overhauling shop in the side streets.

3 years is not that long yet but better na rin na wala kang problem. After 5-6 years at ok pa yan (hope you use coolant), then sulit ka na sa nabili talaga IMO.

hehe, may coolant naman pala, ok yan. Palit ka lang fluids every 2 years para mas safe.

    Hi Vivafox,
Where did you get your Evercool?
Same price P6,500 with every dealer?
Been struggling with an unrealiable radiator the past year. Puro repair. Found this thread informative. Planning to buy next week.
    Thank you.

My mechanic got it here in San Fernando Pampanga.

You should get a better price in Banawe.

Aluminum - Lightweight, high performance, low durabilty, not repairable
Copper (Evercool) - heavier, less efficient in heat transfer, durable, repairable

It all boils down to your judgment.

Better fix your problem ASAP. It might cause bigger headaches down the road.

Let me add to the many positive reviews for the Evercool radiators.

I have a 1999 Mitsubishi Adventure with Evercool as the OEM radiator. I got the AUV in early 2009 from my late father and had tap water in the radiator. I replenish the reservoir tank of the radiator with tap water once in a while to compensate for the normal evaporation lost and did some occassional flushing to remove dirt and rust. Last January, I did some serious flushing by using distilled water and filled up the radiator with coolant using 50/50 mix. As I write, I never had any leak in the Evercool radiator. Such an experience is a true evidence how durable is the Evercool radiator.

As far as cooling performance is concerned, the temperature needle of the dashboard stays at just below 1/2 range i.e. if I think of imaginary marks say 1- 10 where 1 is the lowest temperature reading, the needle points at 4. Not bad for today's hot summer heat of 36 degrees celsius with the airconditioning unit running.

Like many of you I will not hesitate to recommend Evercool to anyone in need of a replacement radiator. A proven product and proud to say it is made in The Philippines.

I got my evercool in Levin auto supply in banawe, just after National Orthopedic.

Have no complaints with its performance. Traffic and sunny skies, di halos pumapalo sa half yung temp gauge ng ek ko. Not so sure lang sa durability, i bought mine last 2010, almost 2yrs after nagkaroon ng leak sa may hinang part just above the drainplug. I read some who also bought evercool rad, it lasted them at least 4yrs w/o problem. Baka natapat lang siguro ako sa lemon unit. But still...

Dagdag tanong lang, is it really advisable to have ur rad cleaned yearly kahit brand new ito? TIA

Hindi naman kailangan i-clean by rodding (yung bubuksan ang itaas). What you can do is clean by flushing (removing the lower rad hose).

I just have mine rodded every few years or so.
