yep, intercooler from 1st generation Pajero, the intercooler is slightly smaller than our 4d56 pajero. we bought it at 1500 without fan. the uk townace owner fella used Peugeot intercooler...
combination of rubber hose,metal pipes is fine. we use two metal pipes. but avoid using it as much as possible. if aflexible hose exists, get that one... radiator hose is fine but they are non-bendable or you can't force it to... air passage will be affected... buy the hose coated with cloth like material... they say it's more durable...
so far, wala namang leak. I tested it with a 1300 watts blower. and tried forcing pressure, closing the hose and used soap bubles to see some leaks but none appeared so far...
mataas nga yung fan sa Pajero based from our 4d56 w/o air scoop. you can buy a 2.5 inch height, 11.5 inch width universal aux fan with casing * 600 pesos...
heto yung size ng pajero 4d56 intercooler namin...
wala akong pic yung gamit ko sa van, it's just a few inch. maybe 1.5-2.0 inch widths smaller iirc. height remans the same... the 18 inch removable pipe was not included when I bought it...
