    yung aircon ko kasi napansin ko pag nastuck ako sa traffic tapos mainit ang panahon e humihina yung lamig, then pag nakaarangkada na e lumalamig nanaman. di naman nagooverheat yung makina in fact sobrang baba ng temp nya sa guage, siguro nasa 1/4 or less.

    so nadiskubre ko sira yung thermostat ko (eto yung nagreregulate ng flow ng coolant sa radiator at makina) bali stuck open yung thermostat. so ang assumption ko e since tuloy-tuloy yung circulation ng tubig e pati yung tubig sa loob ng radiator e umiinit na upto the point na naapektuhan na nya yung condenser.

    sa palagay nyo po pag mapalitan ko na yung thermostat e masosolve na ang problem ko? nga pala wala din akong fan nanakainstall sa condenser.

    your stuck open thermostat did not cause the insufficient cooling of your air conditioning. these are two separate and isolated problems. the insufficient cooling as you described is caused by insuffient refrigerant charge. have your pressures checked.

    *jick sir bakit po pag umaandar yung sasakyan malamig naman na yung aircon kahit mainit na mainit sa labas. i assumed na kaya ganon is because nadidisipate yung init sa condenser since nahahanginan pag umaarangkada na?

    there are two possible reasons:
    1. maybe, just maybe, the volume of air your condenser fan is pushing is low and that the ram air is doing the condenser fan's work when the vehicle is in motion;
    2. since the engine is running at higher speed, so is the compressor which compensates for the amount of refrigerant flow

    if that's the case dapat ko pacheck kung kulang ako sa freon?

    what if ok naman ang freon level, ano pa kaya ang possible culprit?
    and hindi ba dapat constant ang takbo ng compressor ke idle man or moving yung engine kasi magvavary lang sha depende sa actual temp na dapat abutin ng a/c?

    malamang kulang nga sa freon.

    iyong thermostat, pag naka open lang, mas matagal lang ng konti na maabot ng makina ang operating temp. mas malakas sa gas ang makina pag malamig pa ito. I would recommend na ipaayos na rin ang thermostat.

    The A/C Condenser is always located in front of the radiator, so the thermostat valve will not affect the air temp going through the a/c condenser, i agree with jick, it is another problem but will not affect the a/c problem you have.

    There are many possibilities with a less efficient a/c on idle. These are listed below from the simplest to the more complex cause.

    1. Clogged A/C Condenser fins.
    2. Clogged Radiator Fins.
    3. No Shroud on Radiator Fan
    4. Low refigerant
    5. slow or non-working a/c condenser fan (relay, loose fuse, loose connection, carbon brush, bearing)
    6. a/c compressor efficiency (low compression)

    The car interior temperature is regulated by turning on/off the a/c compressor whether you are in idle or high speed, the thermostat switch will turn on or off the compressor.

    Check mo din yung rad fan/s mo, baka hindi na maganda yung ikot. If that's the case, either buy a surplus or brand new fan.

    Had the same problem before. Pag umaandar, ok ang aircon, pero pag nakahinto, parang blower lang. Turned out na mabagal na yung andar ng isang rad fan (the other fan was ok). Nung napalitan na, everything was ok.

    sir,
    ang rpm ng compressor and dependent sa rpm ng sasakyan. Kaya pag tumatakbo ang sasakyan, tumataas ang rpm ng makina, mataas din ang rpm ng compressor, which means, it is pumping more refirigerant in the system which results in cooling down the vehicle,s cabin.
    Now pag kulang ang refrigerant sa system mo, kahit mabilis ang takbo ng saskyan, hindi masyado malamig ang loob ng sasakyan.
    so, the most probable culprit is your cooling (auxiliary)fan, kasi pag naka idle ka, as you had mentioned, hindi masyado malamig ang buga ng hanign galing sa air con.

    Try mo. habang nakahinto ang sasakyan, lagay mo sa neutral then diinan mo gas pedal to about 2-2.5K rpm. pakiramdamana mo ang buga ng hangin sa aircon kung malamig.

    Ganyan na ganyan ang problema ko. Pupunta ako ngayon ng evangelista para ipaayos yung Fan duon sa may radiator ko.
