HELP: A/C switch problem ng honda civic 2001

Mga Tsikoters,

I apologize if this question has already been asked pro i've searched through the forums pero wala ako nakita so far.

First of, yung kotse ko binaha nong Ondoy and dinala ng papa ko sa Casa kasi ayaw nya pagawa sa labas. My car just got out 2 weeks ago na basic necessity lang yung pinaayos. Sabi nung mechanic di raw inayos yung A/C and power locks and passenger side power window kasi di na pinaayos ng dad ko because sobrang mahal na.

Gumagana pa yung A/C nung nilabas sa Honda pro hindi umiilay yung A/C switch and yung re-circulation switch, hindi rin gumagana yung air vent controls. The improtant thing was that lumalamig cya and na-aadjust yung temperature. Up until last saturday na bigla nalang hindi gumana yung A/C. Ayaw na talaga mag on.

I've been lurking over this forum since last week looking for places na maayos para mapagawan ng A/C. I wanted to go to mang marios but there are already mixed reviews about the quality of thier work and i'm not sure if they can handle something na medyo complicated ang electronics. I want to go to ceejays pro medyo malayo pa sa area ko since i only frequent ortigas and san juan area. I've read about "Cool Attack" in ortigas sa may J. Vargas and decided to try it there this morning.

The manager and the A/C specialist checked the car A/C and initially diagnosed na baka yung resistor daw yung problem which is located under the glove compartment under the passenger side seat. They tried replacing it with a new one pero di pa din gumana. Then they checked the A/C switch located sa may stereo, binaklas nila and then tinangal. They said that the problem might be caused by the switch kasi umabot dun yung baha, and amoy sunog daw. They are not 100% sure since wala silang pang test. They suggested that i bring my car to "Auto Technica" sa may taguig to have my car diagnosed for the exact problem. And if my problem is yung switch, then i might have to shell out a lot of cash which i really don't want to do anymore.

Any advice on where i should have my car A/C checked na di ako mapa mahal sa gastos or any advice on where to get the parts i need/repaired. I know there's a lot sa banawe but i want to know kung saan specifically kasi baka ma loko lang ako sa mga nag bibenta/nag-aayos ng parts.

any help would greatly be appreciated.

i would like to recommend mang joey bro.. he already have a thread in hcp, and one of the most recommended..almost all his clients are honda owners.. magaling and mura din sumingil.. his shop is in Karangalan village, Pasig area.. good thing about his shop is it's enclosed unlike mang mario's..

i saw his name and i already considered him for repairs, di ko ma open yung thread ng HCP, puno na ata din yung forum kasi di na tumatangap ng members pag nag register.

pero i will go to his place baka this week or next. i already searched for a map going to his place last week pa pero hindi ko pa napuntahan.
