Not really, Hinde mo naman gagawin yan within 5 yrs eh, if brand new binili ha so once mo lang gagawin pag 10 yrs mo own kotse.

Problema kasi sa linis may possibility madale ang ibang pyesa like mga gasket dahil sa pag baklas and kabit. Posible din na ang mga medyo maninipis na areas sa evaporator mabubutas na lang dahil sa cleaning solution or sa pag-brush ng dumi. Kaya ang sinasabi nila wait for it to die na lang before having it cleaned para at least prepared ka na may sira talaga and di ka magugulat sa presyo

The AC system is under pressure. Parang gulong lang yan. Konting butas lang ubos agad laman.

Yeah naalala ko rin nga yung car ni macsd, after nilinis saka pa nagkaron ng mga sira.

Naalala ko kasi yung sabi ng AC shop sakin dati, kaya daw nabutas evaporator ko kasi hindi regular cleaning ko. So hindi pala totoo yun.

Thanks! I will tell casa not to clean the AC na lang muna. Sabi rin naman ng SA ko pwede naman na hindi linisin.

Let's just hope the new AC filter solved the problem. What else could be wrong diba if there is no leak naman and new filter tapos bawas pa rin yung lamig

Some auto modes open the outer vents so higop lahat ng dumi. Bantayan mo lang ang indicator.

Check your fan kung mahina ang aircon in trafik. Baka mabagal na ikot nya.

Is your auto climate on recirculation mode? My experience with Benzes is when I set the climate control to automatic, the fresh air vents (introducing outside air) open a bit. I don't know if this is a european thing or if this applies to all auto-climate systems. So, I end up setting it on manual, recirculate mode. I can't over ride it.

If you're leaving the climate system on automatic, but on recirculation mode, then I think wala naman problem yun.

Chances are, ganyan din ang Toyota. Cathy, I think you should start using your AC on manual mode with recirculation mode "ON".

I got my car from the Casa and they replaced the Aircon Filter to address my AC problem. They recommended cleaning but I opted not to.

This is so frustrating because the AC is still HILAW. The weather is very cold now and despite that it still does not feel cold in the cabin. Normally in this weather the cabin should be full of mist at my usual setting of 24 C.

I had the casa check for leaks and and they said that there's none. Di rin nabawasan yung freon. In May 2012 I was able to claim warranty for the AC. They replaced the Motor Blower Fan. So it there is no leak, the filter is new and the fan was replaced last year, what could be the probem?

Ummm... Hindi kaya wala talaga problem yung a/c? Get a temp sensor, set the a/c to 18, see if pareho temp sensor. If not baka madumi or may sira temp sensor.

if used on mid-dash vent, a normal A/C could read around 7C

( you will know this if the blower speed increases, then slows down again if it reaches the desired temperature set earlier)... Maybe you need this to be checked... Factory defects can happen you know... Hopefully your car is not a lemon...

I am thinking that my aircon is a lemon. They replaced the ac motor blower fan just last year. I always use auto mode, in normal weather it would start with all bars then decreases over time. But what I find so unusual is that the air that comes out of the vent is hilaw. I find it so frustrating na casa says my AC is okay and that it needs cleaning. It is not okay bec I have been using that car for 3 yrs and I know how the AC feels like

Actually naisip ko yan na baka ako lang ang naiinitan Pero hindi talaga kasi ang ulan ulan na wala pa rin mist yung car ko. Dapat at 24c in this weather nag mist na auto ko.

^Try to get a 2nd opinion from other shops. Mine was solved by cleaning and replacing the exp valve and drier. I'm positive my AC can go as low as 7 degrees from the vents.

Actually hindi siya mukhang aircon shop kaya hindi napapansin. Pero may following siya hehe and magaling siya. Ilang shops pinuntahan ko puro compressor ang sira na sinasabi. Si Temyong lang nagsabi na exp. valve ang problem and not compressor.
