AC compressor problem

Good day!

Pinatignan ko AC ko sa aircon shop dahil lumalamig siya pero in the long run parang nagiging hilaw ang lamig. Ng nacheck ung AC nag ha-high pressure daw and probable cause is ung compressor and need to replace ung katol sa loob.

Any suggestion kung tama ba ung sinabi nung repairshop? Wala daw sila parts para sa compressor ng Honda Civic vti 96 ko sa ngaun. Magkano kaya parepair nun sa ibang shop? Ano ba mas maganda, bumili ako ng surplus or repair lang nung compressor?

based on your facts (hilaw ang lamig), you have to check all possible causes....

1. insufficient freon - need to charge more..
2. evaporator (katol as yu hav reffered to) - it could be dirty making the fan/blower cannot effectively push the air through it. simple cleaning will do and no need to replace its, unless its already leaking which can also be the reason why yu hav less freon;
3. weak compressor - surplus is ok esp if yu know how to determine a good one... original is too costly but advisable.... if yu know a reputable shop who has parts, yu can also have it repaired... hope it helps

How about the expansion valve, does it also affect the performance of AC? Nakaka affect din ba sa hilaw na lamig and high pressure?

Wala namang leak dahil natest nila ung system and meron pang freon.

Ung katol na sinabi na repair shop is katol inside the compressor and has to be replaced. Medyo matagal bago mag-automatic ung compressor kaya need to be repaired. Magkano kaya cost nung katol plus the repair?

Meron po ba makakatulong sa problem ko? Meron ba kayong alam na reliable na gumagawa dito sa Sta. Rosa Laguna? Magkano kaya palit ng katol and repair ng compressor?

Para sa TS, hanap ka na lang ng matinong shop at matinong technician, walang problema compressor mo.

Ano kaya ang cause nung high pressure? pag barado ang valve pwede rin ba maging cause ng high pressure at hilaw na lamig?

Palinis mo na lang, chnge evaporator, recharge ng freon bro. Tip - It would only cost you around P1.7k to P2k total in reputable aircon repair shops.

ito rin ang problema ng kotse ko lately to the point na pag tanghali tapat at stop and go traffic ayaw na lumamig, hilaw din ang term nila. galing na ako ng ceejays kanina, linis, palit ng expansion valve at drier. ngayon ok na ulit balik na yung lamig at pansin mo nag aautomatic na.

total damage, 5200 less discount 4500 lahat. ayos talaga dito sa ceejays.
