isnt his just distilled water with grease remover (joy)?

the one i used before yung yung combo, washer + repellent, may kumakapit sa windshield na parang thin film, parang nagiging water repellent yung windshield, kahit di mo na buksan ang wiper during rain eh you can still see clearly. although the downside is this thin film of repellent is a dirt magnet.

some repellents are supposed to be buffed dry.

Hahaha! Actually ang point ko lang kasi sir is that yung "soapy" cleaner nila, di naman kasi talaga nila niririnse yun with water after nila "sabunin". They only use yung scrubber then punas nalang sa mga konti pang naiwan na residue. So di na ko nagpapalinis when they offer me for that service

1tbsp of joy is too much. Read it from here to just use a few drops. Tinry ko to dati using a 4L distilled water. Ended up buying another 6L to further dilute the solution.

Buhayin ko lang yung thread Is it okay to refill with DIY washer fluid (distilled water + Joy dishwashing soap) even if the washer tank still has some remaining store-bought washer fluid?

    i don't see why not.

    but just in case,
suck some of the fluid out of the wiper fluid reservoir, and mix it with your homemade fluid mix. see if there is any precipitation that forms.
    kung wala, pour it in.

Oks dr d, will try this out! How do you suck out some washer fluid from the tank though?

    on second thought,
just catch some of the squirted fluid when you activate the windshield washer.
