Also tried tonight the filtered water + joy mix.
Nawala yung gritiness ng wiper kapag nag sweep siya.
Also noticed na mas clear yung glass after, though sa una medyo malabo since nag bubula yung soap.

BTW i noticed na kapag matagal naka on yung washer spray, nag auto off siya?
Same goes for the rear one. Does it heat up that much ba? Pinalitan ko kasi nung umuulan kanina, so I am left to drain the reservoir via washer spray.

Use distilled water to avoid water spots.

Don't use soaps or dishwashing liquid, you will have water spots from the water-soap solution when it evaporates off your windshield, and you risk stripping the wax off your paint.

Sir imho, water spots cannot be caused by filtered/distilled water. If there would be blame it to the elements present in the environment, but at least this soap solution will gently wipe of sticky substance like carbon and oil combined from the air pollutants - just to name a few.

I also disagree of the washer stripping off the wax in the paint as it should be directly aimed at the windshield, unless otherwise you install performance washer that can blast water into your whole car, afaik.

    Hth.

Swerte jan saten pwedeng tubig lang gamitin though i'm not sure if safe sya sa windshield mo kasi alam mo magwa waterspots sya.

Just to be safe, buy a dedicated washer fluid para sa peace of mind.

Ako din I use toyota windshield washer, 1:3 ratio, 3 parts yung distilled water (sa shell 20pesos/liter yung distilled water). With this formula, tumagal ng 4years yung wiper blade. Sa joy kasi parang mabilis tumigas yung wiper blade.
