Don't use soaps or dishwashing liquid, you will have water spots from the water-soap solution when it evaporates off your windshield, and you risk stripping the wax off your paint.

un na nga iniisip ko sir. and i also use glaz stain out and stain guard for water repellent during heavy rains.

You use those rain repellents so that rain water will bead instead of sheet in your windshield. Using liquid detergent, won't that defeat the properties of your rain repellent? Surely it would clean your windshield more efficiently, but then you will end up using your wiper more instead of sparingly if the rain repellent retains its effectiveness.

For a better illustration (not an endorsement of rain-x, marami pang iba na sing-effective din):

Sir how much cost ng wiper blade vs cost ng distilled water and washer fluid for 4years? Tingin ko sa isang seasin ng tagulan sa atin makakabili ka na ng 2-3 wiper blade bosch or denso brand compared sa cost ng fluid at distilled. Imho lang po. No need to argue, peace.

    Here's mine:

    22 inch wiper blades (pair) = 700php
1 gallon 3 stage filtered water at home (not distilled) = Basically free
1 coat KSG applied to windshield (twice a year) = 20php?

Total: 720php (Still good after 1.5 years)

Let's say I used distilled water.

    720php + 90php = 810php
