Okay po ba ang Platinum? I've been looking it up, sabi nung distributor pareho lang ang manufacturer nito at ng Llumar, but when I looked it up sa website ng Llumar, wala namang Platinum dun. Thanks!

i'd definitely recommend solargard santolan (greenhills). they got very experienced installers there. if you go on a weekday around 11 or later, less customer so me chance you will have several installers attending to your car, meaning mabilis ka lang makakaalis. i had hp charcoal 13 on the sides and rear, and 22 sa front windshield. if you look up the solargard website, you can see hp charcoals to have very high TSER's comparable to the metallic and mirror-like hp quantums. nung una, plano ko eh 32 and 43 sana kasi nga i'm having a hard time with my brother's superblack tints (equivalent to 5 yata yun) esp. when backing up. so imagine my apprehension when they said yun lang available sa hp charcoal: 6, 13 and 22. pero after makabit and i ventured outside na, di pa naman pala madilim. feeling ko nga i could have gone for one shade deeper pa. pero sa gabi, mukhang that's the limit of acceptable visibility so okay na rin. about heat rejection, you can feel the difference talaga. at 11am, compare ko when window down (direct sunlight) and when rolled up... big difference.

Generally, beware of LA cars even their tint. My brother had his car tinted a few years ago at kaibigan nya ang owner (Amrit). 3M panther black pinalagay nya but after a few years, nag-fade ang tint nya! Meaning it was 3M FX ST model (lowest 3M model that is really designed to fade after 3 years - 3-yrs lang warranty agains bubbling, peeling or blistering only, NO warranty against fading). If he can do it to a friend, what more sa ordinary customers.
Roadstar ka na lang or other shops sa fort or near SLEX
To all: the FX ST is the lowest model that is usually the free black tint from many casas. Here's the FX ST brochure:
