Microtex "stain guard" and "stainz out", one of them is the stripper. I use both and have not experienced skipping wipers. I always use the stripper before I apply the one for hydrophobic effect. It is time consuming so sometimes when the effect wears off, I don't use the stripper but just reapply.

The thing with Hydrophobic Glass treatment is it encourages one to drive a little faster when it rains ... if you use wipers, it will scrape off the treatment faster ...

This "Bye-Wiper" is good if it really makes your windshield impact resistant.

I'm not sure how I can "try" it. I mean, the claim about impact resistant windshield. *Sarsi, perhaps you can give it a try to your newly replaced windshield.

Collinite paste wax for a long term hydrophobic treatment for the windshield? I gotta try this:

Glass Science Rain Clear Windshield Repellant Gel doesn't last more than 2 weeks after these recent monsoon rainy days, so I'm looking for better alternatives. Any recommendations (no RainX please)?

I am using Clearvue Rain Repellent.....lasts longer. much better than I bought from Blade.
applied it in the windshield (front and rear), ok din sya sa side glass at sidemirrors para walang sagabal sa field of vision pag maulan.
