Best 3M tint series (ranking)

I suggest stick with 3M CS (Color Stable) and BC (Black Chrome). Or CR (Crystalline) if you want high-end clear tints. 3M BC user here.

TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejected)

Light Tint
3M CS 35 = 40%
3M BC 35 = 53%
3M FX-ST 35 = 37%
3M SAS 35 = 36%

Medium Tint
3M CS 20 = 51%
3M BC 20 = 68%
3M FX-ST 20 = 40%
3M SAS 20 = 39%

Dark Tint
3M CS 5 = 57%
3M BC 10 = 72%
3M FX-ST 5 = 46%
3M SAS 5 = 41%

so far happy ako sa BC series. swerte lang at nagbagay sa color ng car ko yung pagka metallic/chrome look niya

I just like to double check na yung 3M CS series does not affect cellphone signal / GPS signal / pocket wifi signal / RFID and Epass?

I was originally looking at VKOOL due to its excellent hear rejection pero hihina daw yung GPS/cell/etc signals.

Yup I have 3M CS right now on my windshield, no effect on GPS, RFID, or mobile data.

I also have Vkool OEM in my other car, also no effect on GPS, RFID, or mobile data.

The only Vkool tint that affects RFID and to a certain extent GPS is their VK-series.

Did I get this right:

1) VKOOL OEM has better heat rejection than 3M CS right? By how much?

2) 3M CS looks better then VKOOL OEM if you want the color to look more black right?

3) 3M CS is more black from the outside such that you can't see the people inside the car compared to VKOOL OEM right?

Would you have a pic of VKOOL OEM and 3M CS side by side? I'd sure like to see the color shade of each beside each other.

Good day mga bossing!

My agent said that they only have BC and FX for the free tint of my new car. I insisted on CS based on what I have read from this thread. She said they are checking its availability from outside supplier and will procure if it is available.

How will I know if it is a legit CS type? I have no idea of the distinctions of those 3 types of 3M tints. My worry is that they might install any type and claim it to be CS.

Any advice? TIA

Mga sirs ask lang ako may mga shop ba na maganda puntahan near Biñan/cavite/Alabang/Muntinlupa/Las Piñas/Parañaque area na authorized sellers ng mga tint brand pero ung madaming choices? Parecommend naman po thanks! Kung okay lang din pa recommend naman ng magandang tint for Honda City color is Taffeta White.

ang gusto ko makuha is:

1. Ung di na mediyo kita ung nasa loob ng sasakyan pero pag nasa loob ng sasakayan kita kita parin ung nasa labas especially pag gabi.
2. Good heat rejection.
3. Di ganon kabigat sa bulsa mga around 5-8k budget for a full wrap around.

walang tint na madilim sa labas pero maliwanag sa loob. merong tinatawag na "magic tints" na reflective pero i don't like the looks of it

hingi ka ng tint samples to be placed on your window(s) para ikaw mismo mag gauge kung ok na sayo. karamihan kasi ng samples nila na nakadikit na sa glass is faded na due to time siguro

go to the known tint manufacturer's website and check mo na lang yung authorized dealers and installers nila na malapit

I see thanks. Meron nakong dalawang prospect shop for 3M tints just looking for some recommendations na tried and tested na sa pagkabit ng tint.

Hi guys noob question. I had 3m BC20 installed on all windows and front and back as well. Ngayon hirap na si waze kumuha ng GPS and also my navi on my HU. Any suggestions on how to address this? Planning to change the one on windshield lang, ma address na kaya nito yung signal problem? Any suggestions on what tint to put on my windshield? Yung best compromise na sana ng visibility sa gabi na medyo di kita yung mga tao sa loob haha.
