    Actually, tama yung model niya. Yung sikat gas models nung 1990s ay 320i, 525i.

    Sa panahon na yun din may Benz na diesel na rin, na sikat. Mga TD-series. . .

    Europe kasi iba yung measure kaya sumikat diesel. Measure nila total CO2 emissions, vs particulate emissions sa US. Mas matipid diesel, less CO2 emitted.

    And yes, nandaya VW, but of course naareglo narin, tulad ng ibang carmakers/car parts makers na nandaya din (Mitsu/Takata, etc).

    Masyado naman atang ridiculous at exaggerated yang mission na yan. 😂

    Pero if that's really serious, then he should at least try to invent an engine that would succeed it. Di matutuwa ang mga tao niyan kung basta basta na lang magpeperish yan nang walang kapalit.

    but they refuse to encourage pollution-free vehicles by giving them real tax breaks.
    how much of a brand new car's showroom price, is taxes ?

    Excise tax free, iba pa yung import duties . . . doon minsan malupit.

    To encourage electric vehicles hindi lang taxes, dapat yung charging infrastructure ayusin din. Sa mga gasolinahan dapat my charging stations din.

    Otherwise, pang PR lang sa Metro Manila yung mga "clean" vehicles.

    Too bad VW doesn't still have an hybrid to offer locally. And like what the other guy said above, there's no or not that much power stations to keep them charged so that they will continue to run on the roads.

    Most likely a Jetta 1.6L TDI MT. Fleet units of such a model were sold for 760k back in last quarter of 2016.

    If it was a smaller car, it would be the Polo sedan.

    Yes there is a polo taxi. Actually only two polo taxi. They are both 1.6 TDI MT and I knew the owner who is in our FB group also

    kayo mga diesel lovers hindi nyo natancha yan.... bilib na bilib kayo..... dinudugas pala..

    hello sir, sana makita nyo yung mga Jetta at Golf GTS TDI's. Yung sa akin TSI (kaunti lang kami naka -TSI puro TDI) pero pag nag-memeet kami puro TDI mga kasama ko ako lang TSI pero yung exhaust nila parehas lang ng sa TSI ko ang buga pag tumakbo na kami for a fun drive. Ang mga TDI na yan ay mad ADBLUE na hinahalo para luminis ang emission. Nangdaya man sa US eh mas malinis parin emission ng VW TDI sa mga diesels dito sa pinas . I'll buy a TDI anytime
