:lol:Last edited by n2knee; January 27th, 2008 at 12:07 AM.

Cutlery and/or dinner plate set. Nice ones. My wife prizes Noritake porcelain.

Thank you for all your suggestions.
I understand the practicality of giving cash/check nowadays, but as I said...it has to be a gift. This is due to the very nature of the couple, which I don't intend to discuss here.
Anyway, I finally bought the gift, which I think is very appropriate - an exquisite desktop picture frame. It's not very big, and its quite pricey for its size.
I figured that you just can't have enough picture frames, and what would be better than a beautiful frame to put their wedding picture. Something they can really show off to family and friends.

How much is a good budget for a wedding gift if you're just a guest? My friend told me that her budget for the wedding gift is at least the same or higher than the cost of food per head (estimate). Do you guys follow that as well?

My standard wedding gift is cutlery. A set of forks, spoons and bread knives is always a good wedding gift.
Better to buy the similar-era clone starex 4x4 (not sure lang if local or imported but original lhd...
